PG Stephen Curry (40) / Nate McMillan (8)
SG Paul Pierce (36) / Nate McMillan (12)
SF Shane Battier (36) / Derrick McKey (12)
PF LeBron James (40) / Derrick McKey (8)
C Karl-Anthony Towns (40) / Manute Bol (8)
FGA
2004-05 LeBron James: 21.1
2009-10 Stephen Curry: 14.3
2015-16 Karl-Anthony Towns: 14.1
2001-02 Shane Battier: 12.3
1998-99 Paul Pierce: 13.5
1986-87 Nate McMillan: 4.2
1987-88 Derrick McKey: 6.3
1986-87 Manute Bol: 3.5
89.3/90
Tony Snell's D is not good. Barkley guarding LeBron is going to be a problem. Our defense is really great at the positions we need it most, like Pierce or McMillan guarding Magic and LeBron or McKey guarding Barkley.
Rookie Towns shot 47.3% from 10-16 feet; Sabonis is going to have his hands full.
Overall, we think we have key advantages in LeBron, our two way play, and our great bench. Vote dantley4prez, if you please.

Im going to keep this brief because i am short on time. I think that the talent math leans pretty heavily in my favor here. Dame and Steph are a relative wash. Magic > Pierce, Davis>> battier. Barkley is about the same as LeBron. Both 2nd team all NBA, Barkley 2nd in the league in BPM and VORP. And Sabonis and KAT are not all that far off in value. Davis will guard LeBron while Barkley will cover Battier. I don't think that he has a great cover for Magic. Davis was 5th in MVP in the selected season. I've got 3 of the 4 best players here in Barkley, Davis, and Magic and that will be enough to get me the W.

Snell's offense is scarier, Magic/Barkley/Lillard/Davis are high level threats, Sabonis is floor spacer. Some players like Kawhi and Sabonis help on D. dantley has better defensive covers for his team but it is only a slightly better defense, not enough to make up for the firepower advantage

Lebron was smaller at 20 and spent nearly all his time at SF, even at 22 I think Barkley would bully him around and Towns isn't going to going to help much. Magic and especially Davis were really good in their rookie years. Dantley provide a bit more shooting but Snell has more size and depth.

Tony Snell offense is more scarier , and with Magic and Lillard in the back court they should be easily be able to create open shots for the team. To me the key difference in this game is Lebron not being an all around offensive player in 2005 and I believe that Sabonis , Barkley will be easily be able to hinder Lebron ability to drive to the basket meaning that he will be forced to pass or shoot(which he wasnt good at back then either).

Tony Snell by a handful. Advantage is pretty huge, I think Barkley takes LBJ to school. Dame and Magic are icing on the cake.

I don't think LeBron has a chance against Barkley. LeBron wasn't a tank like he is now. I see Magic, Davis and Barkley being the three best players in this matchup

GG Dantley. I was scared about how folks would view my ability to defend LeBron. You built a great team around him. Your team was probably the team that I was most afraid of seeing early.
