Draft Rules:

1. Subject to the rules to be set out below, you may use player seasons from the 1979-80 season to the 2016-17 season. You can select players who entered the league before 1979-80, but the season selected must be in the range outlined.

2. The draft will consist of four rounds. In each round, you will have the flexibility of selecting one, two, or three players. In order to select multiple players with one pick, they must all be associated with the same college at Basketball Reference, per the link below. You may select players who aren't associated with a college as a stand alone pick. You may also elect to choose a player as a stand alone, even though he is associated with a college and has fellow alums available. You may not select more than one MVP on a pick.

3. You will be required to draft exactly 8 players over the four rounds, so the number of players you select in earlier rounds will dictate how many you must select in later rounds. Each of your players must play a minimum of 8 minutes in your rotations.

4. Each player you select must have played at least 50% of regular season games in the season selected.

5. Your team will be allowed a combined total of 90.0 FGA corresponding with the specific seasons indicated for each player.

6. The draft order will be ABBB

7. Players will get a maximum of a 2-hour window to make their selection when they are on the clock. If you still have not chosen a player by then, you will be skipped. Also, if you know ahead of time that you won't be available to make your pick on the clock then please PM your selection to myself or another participant. NOTE: If you miss one pick and have failed to make it by the time your next pick comes around, you can be skipped immediately.

8. The clock will be turned off between 12 midnight and 9 AM EDT. The clock starts Tuesday, Feb 6 at 9 AM EST.

9. Draft order will be completely randomised.

10. After you have made your draft selection, please quote and/or PM the person that goes after you so they will know that it is their turn and they are on the clock. You may not change your pick after it has been made, even if the next person in the order has not picked yet.

11. The winner of the draft will be determined by a method TBD.

So there are a bunch of different ways to go here. I could take 2 great 2-way wings, I could take 3 solid players, or I could take the BPA. Eh.

Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler I guess. Marquette

I dont feel awesome about this but I think takong 2 players will be useful for down the road and want to preserve FGA flexibility. Doing both those and still getting an elite talent makes this semi reach worth it.

Kawhi Leonard and Michael Cage.
