Writeup:
MJ turned out to be too costly in the first. In hindsight I shouldn’t have taken guys like Wallace and Nash as early as I did, because them combined with MJ proved to be wayyyyyy too costly.
Overall, MJ is still MJ. Nash is a great running mate, as is Harden. Nash and Amar’e have proven chemistry. Wallace defends the paint. Nash, Harden, MJ, Horry, and Jones all provide shooting.

Offensively the combination of Lillard (peak 27ppg version), Wade and Barkley is lethal. The backcourt is a dynamic combination of slashing and shooting while Barkley dominates inside. Butler is another 20 pt slasher/shooter and Gasol is capable on offense as well, while both floor space. Defensively Wade and Butler is an excellent combination on the perimeter and they are backed up by DPOY Gasol and solid defensive bigs in Buck and Jones. Mullin provides 3pt shooting and still had a solid season statistically by per 36 stats and WS/BPM. I feel this team is an excellent combination of offense and defense.

This is an extremely balanced team that features SIX star players on it. Chris Paul is the perfect orchestrator to this offense. He's got an ideal secondary playmaker and matchup nightmare in Giannis, top shelf shooters in Reggie Miller and Peja Stojakovic, a great stretch 4 in Chris Bosh, and a great low down center in Rudy Gobert. Posey is there to help Giannis in covering the elite wing players.
We don't have anyone who is a top 5 or 6 player in this competition, but we have an absolutely elite point guard with a great diversity of tools around him. Our team simply works. Everyone has a clearly defined role, and Giannis gives us the opportunity to roll out a wide variety of difficult-to-guard lineups. We're set up to utlilize him at point guard, small forward, and power forward, and each of those present different matchup problems.

Alonzo Mourning (24) / Bynum (16) / Omer Asik (8)
Strategy: Penny Hardaway is surrounded by the same type of team he ran in Orlando, but far better. The front court is elite defensively, and offensively has elite scorers at every position with every player except Mourning possessing 3 point range. Brandon Roy off the bench provides an elite scorer and playmaker at all times.
Offense: Penny pick and roll with Marion/Mourning, and twin towers vs small ball in Bynum/Mourning. Inside out game with Penny playmaking.
Defense: Lockdown every position except who Price guards. If we play twin towers, can move Price into the bench and have an elite defensive 5.

My offense will be very explosive on the perimeter in having two great offensive players in Klay Thompson and Tracy McGrady. While McGrady may not seem like as good of a scorer in 2000 compared to his prime, he still nearly was it was just that Vince Carter took a lot of opportunities away from McGrady and in this lineup he will get a lot more chances to score due to having a great playmaker in John Stockton who would get McGrady good looks on many plays and with Klay being a great 3 point shooter it will mean he will be able to drive to the basket easier than normal. Klay not only will help take the load of McGrady he can do damage by himself as he is a great 3 point shooter and if he gets hot he can be unstoppable and having a great playmaker like Stockton will make give Thompson more open looks from 3. Down low, It will be very hard for teams to score on me as I have two great defenders in Duncan and Noah, and Duncan still was a great offensive player this year too so he can score a lot of points and defend as well. Of the bench, I have a great shooter in Kyle Korver and a pretty good defender in Aaron McKie

Write-Up:
My team deserves a spot in the final four!
Offensively, there are no other teams on here that can compete with my BIG THREE of Curry, Drexler, and Malone. The pick and roll of my two MVPs Curry/Malone with Clyde slashing to the rim will work to perfection. I don't think any team will be able to stop all three of the them on the court at the same time...one of them if not all will bound to go off. Not to mention the slashing and 3 point shooting Iggy will provide offensively while DeAndre hovering around the rim for a lob or shot where he excels are an added bonus. My rebounding is excellent in this game as well with rebounders like Malone/Jordan/Mason and even Drexler who all provide the ability for second chance opportunities for a deadly shooters like Curry/Ingles as well as fast break opportunities from defensive rebounding. Playmaking is all over the floor on my team from Curry, Drexler, Iggy, Malone, Mason, and Ingles. This team is going to be tough to stop offensively led by my BIG THREE.
Defensively, I don't see anybody a liability starting with a stout front-court with two all defensive first team members in Malone/Jordan with Jordan providing rim protection. Iggy will have the task to guard an elite wing/guard who did a great job on Lebron in 2015 NBA Finals alas 2015 NBA Finals MVP. I have re-assurance on defense from Ingles/Mason as well off the bench.
My bench is solid in this one with sixth man of the year winner in Anthony Mason and Joe Ingles whom both are jack of all trades kind of players with their versatility, playmaking, and two way play. Moncrief will play limited minutes who can provide spurts off the bench either shooting or with his defense.
Each player on my team know their role whether it's offense (Curry, Drexler, Malone) or defense (Iggy, Jordan) so there is a balance. The fit is great as well with proven chemistry from Curry/Iggy.
I think my team has it all from all facets of the game with no glaring weaknesses with great fit and balance on offense/defense, solid bench, and nobody can compete with my BIG THREE offensively in Curry/Drexler/Malone with a great supporting cast around them. Vote ChicagoSportsFan21 in the top 4!
