Draft Rules:

1. Subject to the rules to be set out below, players from the 1989-90 season to the 2016-17 season will be available to be drafted. You can draft players that came into the league before 1989 but the season you choose can't be before 1989-90.

2. Beginning in the second round, each player you select must be within two inches in height of the player you selected in the previous round as listed in Basketball Reference. Plan you path carefully as you will only have eight picks to navigate all of the positions.

3. Each player you select must have played at least 50% of regular season games in the season selected. You will be required to draft a total of 8 players. Each of your players must play a minimum of 8 minutes in your rotations.

4. The winner of the draft will be determined by playoffs/rankings/hybrid (to be determined).

5. You must state the specific season of the player you choose to draft. You don't have to do it right away when you make your selection but you must state it on your team roster page before the playoffs begin.

6. Your team will be allowed a combined total of 85.0 FGA corresponding with the specific seasons indicated for each player.

7. We will be doing a modified snake draft. It will go like this: ABBABABA

8. Players will get a maximum of a 2-hour window to make their selection when they are on the clock. If you still have not chosen a player by then, you will be skipped. Also, if you know ahead of time that you won't be available to make your pick on the clock then please PM your selection to myself or another participant. If you miss one pick and have failed to make it by the time your next pick comes around, you will be skipped. NOTE: We will be using a one hour clock in rounds 7-8.

9. The clock starts tomorrow at 9 am EST will be turned off between 12 midnight and 9 AM EDT.

10. Draft order will is completely randomised.

11. After you have made your draft selection, please quote and/or PM the person that goes after you so they will know that it is their turn and they are on the clock. You may not change your pick after it has been made, even if the next person in the order has not picked yet.

12. Please help maintain the draft at the link and include player heights in both the draft thread and spreadsheet.

Not doing any research.

I have a semi plan that I know won’t work but let’s try it!

Kevin Garnett - 6-11

I see that I'm on the clock... I don't think I've ever had my favorite player in a game with a FG limit so give me The Big Aristotle:

P.S.: Forgot to include height: 7-1.

I hate to be that guy but basketball-reference has Hakeem at 7-0.

I had in mind maybe a dozen players (not just for my first pick) and like 90% of them turned out to have a different height than what I thought/knew.
