The Seven Years Plan Draft

Post#1 » by euroleague » Wed Mar 28, 2018 1:13 am

1. Subject to the rules to be set out below, players from the 1960-61 season to the 2016-17 season will be available to be drafted. You can draft players that came into the league before 1960 but the season you choose can't be before 1960-61.

2. You will be required to draft a total of 8 players. Each of your players must play a minimum of 8 minutes in your rotations.

3. You will be required to use one player season from each seven-year period between 1960-61 to 2016-17. At the time when you draft each player, you will be required to state which period his chosen season will be taken from. To be specific, those periods are:

Period 1: 1960-61 to 1966-67
Period 2: 1967-68 to 1973-74
Period 3: 1974-75 to 1980-81
Period 4: 1981-82 to 1987-88
Period 5: 1988-89 to 1994-95
Period 6: 1995-96 to 2001-02
Period 7: 2002-03 to 2009-10
Period 8: 2010-11 to 2016-17

4. Each player you select must have played at least 50% of regular season games in the season selected.

5. The winner of the draft will be determined by rankings/Playoffs hybrid.

6. You must state the specific season of the player you choose to draft. You don't have to do it right away when you make your selection but you must state it on your team roster page before the playoffs/rankings begin.

7. Your team will be allowed a combined total of 90.0 FGA corresponding with the specific seasons indicated for each player. All seasons pre-merger will use a .85 multiplier to calculate their FGA count.

8. We will be doing a modified snake draft. It will go like this: ABBABABA

9. Players will get a maximum of a 2-hour window to make their selection when they are on the clock. If you still have not chosen a player by then, you will be skipped. Also, if you know ahead of time that you won't be available to make your pick on the clock then please PM your selection to myself or another participant. NOTE: If you miss one pick and have failed to make it by the time your next pick comes around, you will be skipped.

10. The clock will be turned off between 12 midnight and 9 AM EDT.

11. Draft order will be completely randomised.

12. After you have made your draft selection, please quote and/or PM the person that goes after you so they will know that it is their turn and they are on the clock. You may not change your pick after it has been made, even if the next person in the order has not picked yet.

The picking order is :
