The length, spacing, and wing defense around Wilt are outstanding. Lou runs the show with Dirk and Manu providing a lift off the bench.

DeRozan (38) / Liggins (10)
Leonard (38) / Simmons (10)
Ibaka (36) / Powell (12)
KAT (38) / Powell (10)

Writeup:

Starpower wins championships. I have an insanely talented big four in Simmons/DeRozan/Kawhi/KAT. Three 20+ ppg scorers. Three legit 3 point threats in the starting 5.

KAT is a decent-good defender (positive DBPM), DeRozan is good, Simmons and Ibaka are great, and Kawhi is elite. Our defense should be good-great.

Powell and Augustin are great 6th and 7th men in this pool.

Steph Curry (36) / Satoransky (12)
Danny Green (30) / Robert Covington (10) / Satoransky (10)
Robert Covington (26) / Jerami Grant (22)
Kevin Love (30) / Derrick Favors (18)
Bill Walton (38) / Derrick Favors (10)

Steph Curry - 26/5/6/1.6/.2, 28.2 PER, 68% TS, .267 WS/48, 42% 3FG, 125 ORTG, 108 DRTG
Danny Green - 9/4/2/.9/1.1, 11.4 PER, 51% TS, 2.9 WS, 36% 3FG
Robert Covington - 13/5/2/1.7/.9, 12.9 PER, 56% TS, 6.1 WS, 37% 3FG
Kevin Love - 18/9/2/.7/.4, 22.4 PER, 61% TS, 42% 3FG, 120 ORTG, 109 DRTG
Bill Walton 78 - 19/13/5/1/2.5, MVP, 24.8 PER, 105 ORTG, 89 DRTG

Tomas Satoransky - 7/3/4/.7/.2, 15.3 PER, 62% TS, 5 WS, 124 ORTG, 111 DRTG
Jerami Grant - 8/4/1/.4/1, 16.2 PER, 5.4 WS, 122 ORTG 108 DRTG
Derrick Favors - 12/7/1/.7/1.1, 18.8 PER, 59% TS, 8.8 WS, 119 ORTG, 104 DRTG

FGA - 83/85
Spoiler:
Curry 16.9
Love 12.4
Covington - 10.5
Danny Green - 8
Satoransky- 5.3
Favors - 9.1
Grant - 5.6
Walton - 15.2

Write-Up: While my team isn't as talented as some others, it fits like a glove. Green and Covington are great spot-up shooters, and KLove has a versatile offense that he can work in the post or on the perimeter. Walton is perhaps the best passing center ever, and he will run the offense from the high post. Curry will work his off-ball voodoo, getting fed by Walton. This offense with so many unselfish players will be a challenge to contain.

Defensively, we have the greatest help-defender outside of Bill Russell manning our C position, to cover for any lapse by KLove (who is better this year). Covington/Green on the oustide can cover for Curry, and if Curry does get beat off the dribble they better worry about Walton in the middle.

PG: Kyrie Irving (18: 18.1 FGA) All-star, .222 WS/48, 6.2 BPM, 24.4 pts, 5.1 ast, 3.8 reb, 1.1 stl, .610 TS%, 40.8% 3pt
SG: Victor Oladipo (18: 17.9 FGA) All-star, .155 WS/48, 4.9 BPM, 23.1 pts, 5.2 reb, 4.3 ast, .577 TS%, 37.1% 3pt
SF: OG Anunoby (18: 4.7 FGA) .098 WS/48, 0.6 BPM, 5.9 pts, 2.5 reb, .587 TS%, 37.1% 3pt
PF: Kevin Garnett (03: 18.1 FGA) 2nd in MVP, 1st team All-NBA, 1st team All-Defense, .225 WS/48, 8.7 BPM, 23.0 pts, 13.4 reb, 6.0 ast, 1.4 stl, 1.6 blk, .553 TS%
C: Al Horford (18: 10.5 FGA) All-star, .165 WS/48, 4.0 BPM, 12.9 pts, 7.4 reb, 4.7 ast, 1.1 blk, .575 TS%, 42.9% 3pt

PG: Fred VanVleet (18: 7.2 FGA) .149 WS/48, 1.9 BPM, 8.6 pts, 3.2 ast, 2.4 reb (15.5 pts, 5.8 ast, 4.4 reb, 1.6 stl per 36), .556 TS%, 41.4% 3pt
SG/SF: Sindarious Thornwell (18: 3.2 FGA) .041 WS/48, -1.6 BPM, 3.9 pts, 1.9 reb, 0.9 ast, 0.7 stl (8.8 pts, 4.4 reb, 2.1 ast, 1.5 stl per 36), 37.7% 3pt
C: Jakob Poeltl (18: 4.7 FGA) .176 WS/48, 3.3 BPM, 6.9 pts, 4.8 reb, 1.2 blk (13.4 pts, 9.3 reb, 2.4 blk per 36), .662 TS%

FGA: 84.4 / 85

Rotation:

PG: Kyrie Irving (28) / Fred VanVleet (20)
SG: Victor Oladipo (38) / Kyrie Irving (10)
SF: OG Anunoby (33) / Sindarous Thornwell (15)
PF: Kevin Garnett (38) / Al Horford (10)
C: Al Horford (28) / Jakob Poeltl (20)

We may not have as sexy a 1-2 combo as Lebron/Shaq or Harden/Kareem, but don't sleep on this team. Offensively have two elite guards creators in Irving and Oladipo, while Garnett is the perfect compliment to them scoring, passing and spacing. The spacing on this team is phenomenal as Irving, Oladipo, Anunoby, Horford (and VanVleet and Thornwell off the bench) are 3pt shooters and Garnett is one of the best midrange spacing bigs. The spacing of KG/Horford will open space for our slashing guards. We also like that Garnett and Horford is an outstanding passing frontcourt run plays for Irving and Oladipo like Draymond does with Irving, overall we think our team has some similarities with the Warriors. Defensively we have an elite frontcourt in KG and Horford who deserved fringe DPOY consideration this year and Oladipo, Anunoby is a long athletic wing combination. Our bench is impressive for this pool as VanVleet and Poeltl were two key players for the best bench in the league. VanVleet showed his ability to play beside another PG in Lowry so he should do fine beside Irving, and Poeltl was a great shotblocker and efficient rim roller. Thornwell showed 3 and D promise. All three are excellent on defense for their age. This team has an impressive combination of offense, defense and depth.

Meet The Jordans

PG Donovan Mitchell (36) / Delon Wright (12)
SG Michael Jordan (38) / Delon Wright (10)
SF Kyle Anderson (32) / Jonas Jerebko (16)
PF LaMarcus Aldridge (38) / Jonas Jerebko (10)
C DeAndre Jordan (36) / Tarik Black (12)

FGA
1990-91 Michael Jordan: 22.1
2017-18 DeAndre Jordan: 7.5
2017-18 LaMarcus Aldridge: 18
2017-18 Donovan Mitchell: 17.2
2017-18 Kyle Anderson: 5.9
2017-18 Delon Wright: 6.3
2017-18 Tarik Black: 2.5
2017-18 Maurice Harkless: 5
84.5/85

Mike/Mitchell/Aldridge, augmented by Shlomo and DJ as defenders, is pretty much a perfect fit. It gives Mike all the space he needs, the ball as much as he wants, and defense at all five positions. Can’t ask for much more than that.

Vote dantley4prez, if you would.

LeBron James: 19.3 FGA
2000 Shaquille O'Neal: 21.1 FGA
Jaylen Brown: 11.5 FGA
Trevor Ariza: 9.7 FGA
Patty Mills: 8.3 FGA
Aaron Baynes: 5.5 FGA
Cedi Osman: 3.0 FGA
T.J. McConnell: 5.5 FGA

Total: 83.9/85 FGA

Mills (38)/McConnell (10)
Brown (40)/McConnell (8)
Ariza (38)/Osman (10)
LeBron (40)/Osman (8)
Shaq (40)/Baynes (8)

By far, FAR the best top two in the pool, with arguably both the best exception player and the best 2018 player. Those two can easily give you 60 a game alone so don't need too much scoring around them, it's not like this is Paul/Duncan or something, these are two of the greatest scorers of all time. Therefore I surrounded them with perfect fitting role players, there isn't anyone on the team who needs the ball because with LeBron and Shaq they'd be wasted. Brown, Ariza and Mills are all elite 3&D players.

Total: 84.9/85.0

Writeup
Bird would almost certainly be primarily a 4 in the modern game, and that's how we're using him. His unique blend of volume scoring, passing, shooting, and off-ball movement - all at elite levels - will be the foundation of our offense. Butler is a terrific secondary scorer and playmaker, and Holiday's ability to fit in without dominating the ball makes him a great fit at FG. Throw in Redick's long-range sniping and perpetual motion off screens, and the inverted spacing provided by Gobert's prowess as a roll man, and this offense will be tough to stop. Defensively, the combination of Gobert, Butler, and Holiday is formidable, and Bird is a solid post defender accustomed to guarding PFs. Off the bench, the versatile Mbah a Moute can give 2s, 3s, and 4s a warm time, and Mejri is a capable rim protector.

Write-Up:

My offense is going to be up-tempo and run as a spread offense, in and out game. I can just imagine the spacing with this team is going to be insane, which is vital than ever in this modern era. I have arguably the best big man of all time in KAJ inside with an unstoppable hookshot while I have four three point shooters around him in Harden, Thompson, Richardson, and Aminu who all shot over 36% from the 3 point line with Klay leading the way at a ridiculous 44% rate. I also have the best player in this season and most likely MVP in James Harden who had a stellar season offensively-leading the league in scoring. He's an excellent playmaker and will find Thompson and Aminu for a great catch and shoot shot. Richardson and Livingston are solid playmakers as well. O'Quinn had a very efficient season shooting this season from the post and mid-range. The in and out game of Harden/KAJ is going to be definitely tough to stop for any team.

Defensively, all my starters are solid to excellent defenders and I don't see anybody a liability on that end. Yes, even Harden, who I believed elevated his play defensively and is having his best defensive season of his career so far. Klay Thompson and Shaun Livingston provide re-assurance for defending opposing guards so Harden can focus more offensively which he does best. Richardson and Aminu are having great defensive seasons with Richardson possibly making the all defensive team with his play. He's a great shot blocker for his position. Aminu is great at getting steals with his length. KAJ made the all nba defensive first team and led the league in blocks in his season providing elite rim protection with more than 3 blocks per game. O'Quinn is a solid post defender with his rebounding/physicality. Huestis has the defensive versatility to guard 1-4. It's going to be tough scoring against this team.

Overall, my team does not have any glaring weaknesses offensively and defensively. It's a well balanced team that has quality depth. Harden/KAJ is one of the best duos in this game is going to be tough to stop as top two option offensively. Klay is a great third banana like he is in real life. Klay/Richardson have all defensive team potential this season, and Klay has always been known to be a great man to man defender. Aminu and Huestis have great defensive versatility. O'Quinn had great season offensively with 62% TS providing a spark off the bench. All in all, my team deserves a spot in the top 4. Please vote for ChicagoSportsFan21!

Darren Collison- 9.2 FGA
Dwayne Wade 05-06- 18.8 FGA
Jayson Tatum- 10.4 FGA
Giannis Antetokounmpo- 18.7 FGA
Nikola Jokic- 13.5 FGA

Bench:

Tony Snell- 5.7 FGA
Larry Nance Jr- 6.3 FGA
Lucas Nougueira- 1.6 FGA

Total: 84.2/85 FGA

Collison (36)/Wade (8)/Giannis (4)
Wade (30)/Snell (18)
Tatum (37)/Giannis (11)
Giannis (23)/Nance (25)
Jokic (38)/Nougueira (10)

I think I've got a mega-talented group that fits really well together. Wade/Giannis is a pair of absolutely unguardable talents with limitless athleticism who should play off of each other well, especially given the shooting and playmaking I've surrounded them with. I've got 3 legitimate stars who are all elite passers and playmakers at their positions and I really like the way they play off of one another- it's like the Heatles but with better shooter and playmaker.

Nikola Jokic is a great ranged and playmaking big that plays off of my two "wing" stars extremely well, and Tatum and Collison both do what's needed of them in this setup- shoot the lights out. I've got enough to make anyone who dares double one of my stars pay dearly in the form of 3 point shooting.

Defensively Giannis brings a lot of help defense to help out Nikola Jokic. While Jokic isn't ideal to guard the elite centers in the game, he also presents a problem for them on the other side of the ball, as they're not used to guarding someone with his range and playmaking. On the perimeter, Tatum and Wade are both extremely strong and should help contain opposing perimeter players as well.
