Going to edit as i go but first impressions
Best GMing (value, asset spending/acquisition)
1. MadNESS - Charlotte (turned basically a terrible lineup to one with Westbrook with good bits)
2. Oden2 - Dallas (only concern is he has no picks till 2025)
3. Saul Goodman - Milwaukee
Best Win-Now
1. Golden State
2. Boston
3. Dallas
Best Rebuild
1. Atlanta
2. Miami
3. Detroit

Best GMing (value, asset spending/acquisition)
1. Minnesota Timberwolves
2. Indiana Pacers
3. La Lakers
Best Win-Now
1. Golden State Warriors
2. Boston Celtics
3. Dallas Mavericks
Best Rebuild
1. Detroit Pistons
2. Miami Heat
3.
I will make adjustments as I look more closely into the jobs teams have done but in case I forget this is a tenative list. The lists don't necessarily show how I rank the different teams but I wanted something out there in case I got caught up with other stuff.

Why rely on nuance, facts and logic when you can bludgeon the other side with mindless repetition of "Duuur McDaniel's has potential and still be treated as if you were reasonable.

Best GMing (value, asset spending/acquisition)
1. DAL, even after the loss of picks he holds this position soley for having a amazing team made from near nothing.
2. SAC, although he blew it up late he has alot of picks and a solid roster, thus he can compete and rebuild.
3. CHA, getting westbrook and alot of nice peices, he has to hold this spot, he isnt higher cause he had some assets starting.
Best Win-Now
1. DAL, championship favourites and also built allrpund well from nothing.
2. GSW, starting with 4 stars hard to dr far but dallas played well enough to bridge the gap.
3. BOS, was a toss up between him and philly, though in the end 3 superstars wins.
Best Rebuild
1. MIL, having so many blue chip young players is amazing.
2. MEM, I am high on Doncic, and they have surrounded him with the best peices in a young core.
3. ORL, they made good trades and got alot of nice peices

After your first, you change, you mature, you dont just jump into things.

Best GMing (value, asset spending/acquisition)
1. BOS - He started with a lot of assets but built a contender with picks left over.
2. MEM - Cleaned up the books and has Memphis rolling on a proper rebuild
3. CHA - I didn't envy Ness having to fix this team up but he came away with a solid unit
Best Win-Now - All three are very close for me
1. GSW
2. DAL
3. BOS
Best Rebuild - A lot of the rebuilds this game were quite good
1.MIL
2. MIA
3. OKC

Best GMing (value, asset spending/acquisition)
1. Charlotte Hornets (they didn't had many assets going in and going out with Westbrook, Turner, Oubre, Capela, Bradley and Nance is fantastic - would be nice to turn one of the center into another wing down the line but the value is really strong now)
2. Denver Nuggets (Denver keeps failing to make the playoffs, I doubt this will happen with this core, really good fit all around, Jokic-Millsap-Lowry is such amazing trio)
3. New York Knicks (no moves were forced, very selective but clever trades/picks, I love adding wing depth with Bazemore and Bridges, LIn and Monroe on 1year deals/expirings helps this year without spending any money on the cap for the following year and stay flexible)
Best Win-Now
1. Pihlaldephia 76ers (turn a relativly young team into a contender for the next years was really good job, the fit is also great and it should be almost impossible to defend Embiid with all these shooters around)
2. Dallas Mavericks (turning a bottom 5 team into a high end playoff team speaks for itself, really dislike the lack of picks but having Kyrie/George/DAJ tied up for all their primes will make it easy to get veteran for minimum around them)
3. Golden State Warriors (if you have such a strog roster it's maybe a bit easier to go for Win Now, but lot of teams improved so they needed to improve as well, going out with three of the five best players is great and getting Dragic/Redick on top is really good as well)
Best Rebuild
1. Milwaukee Bucks (If you have Giannis you usually don't dela him away but the amount of talent improved a lot, this sould be one of the best teams in the league in two years and I don't think it would have been with Giannis/Middleton/Jabari)
2. Miami Heat (I like going into the rebuild and adding Porter, Saric and Hield were all good move, would have been great if James Johnson could have been turned into a younger player)
3. Atlanta Hawks (the clearest rebuild, get picks for taking on salary, I don't see any high end talent there but lot of chances taken and likely another top 3 pick coming in)
Honorable Mention to OKC who decided to rebuild halfway thru and ending up with great amount of young talent

Thanks for the votes guys. Honestly toughest job I’ve ever had!
I plan on starting another game soon.
Unless someone else wants to get the ball rolling.
15 Gm’s who will stick with it. 2 teams, one in each conference.

Re: (OFF) SEASON 18/19 GMAT - Rankings and awards thread
deserved winner in my opinion. Made something out of absolutely nothing really (outside Kemba)
i'm just happy i got a third place vote keen to do this again immediately pretty much (this time, with Denver or Milwaukee to be honest, homerism and attachment is a bad thing in these games).
