Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on roster page).

**First to 4 votes wins the championship**

Writeup
Spoiler:
Bird would almost certainly be primarily a 4 in the modern game, and that's how we're using him. His unique blend of volume scoring, passing, shooting, and off-ball movement - all at elite levels - will be the foundation of our offense. Butler is a terrific secondary scorer and playmaker, and Holiday's ability to fit in without dominating the ball makes him a great fit at FG. Throw in Redick's long-range sniping and perpetual motion off screens, and the inverted spacing provided by Gobert's prowess as a roll man, and this offense will be tough to stop. Defensively, the combination of Gobert, Butler, and Holiday is formidable, and Bird is a solid post defender accustomed to guarding PFs. Off the bench, the versatile Mbah a Moute can give 2s, 3s, and 4s a warm time, and Mejri is a capable rim protector.

Matchup Specific
We've rejiggered the rotations a bit to get Mbah a Moute into the starting five. He will get the assignment on KD while Butler takes Dr J. This does cost us a bit of firepower among the starters, but Bird-Butler-Holiday with Gobert as a roll man is still a potent group, and Redick (who is still playing the same number of minutes) now becomes a very dangerous reserve who will give our offense the edge when the second units are in.

Snell's attack is definitely potent, but in terms of combined ppg (a very crude method to be sure) there isn't a material difference among the main scorers or the rosters as a whole. Bird is the best offensive player in this matchup and we don't see a great counter for him on Snell's squad. We think our group has superior individual defenders, while our defensive anchor is on another level to Drummond - who admittedly did a good job for Detroit this year - and we can score enough to make those advantages count.

Good luck Snell.

PF: Durant (38) Porter (5) Davis (5)
C: Drummond (36) Davis (12)

Congratulations on making the finals and good luck fade! I will do my best to stop you from winning 2 games in a two day span   .

We believe fade will struggle to keep up with our scoring barrage. Our main duo of KD/Dr J will be a tough matchup. LRMAM is a weak starter in the context of these games. Durant will have the opportunity to have a big series. Butler is a good defender, but has always excelled at guarding shooting guards, and has had less success guarding SF's and so Erving will be tough for him. The spacing our offense provides will give Dr J tons of room to operate. Defensively, we are pretty well equipped to defend a team that relies heavily on scoring production from the wings. Porter, Erving, Durant, and Iggy are all plus defenders, and they will rotate time on Bird/Butler allowing fresher legs at all times. We have a great defensive anchor in Drummond. Drummond put up stronger defensive advanced metrics than Gobert using many measurements including DBPM and DWS. The gap between them in 2018 is not huge. Lowry is a solid defender, and will do fine with Holiday, and from a talent perspective, Lowry has a big head up in that matchup. Overall, we think we have a much stronger offensive unit, and have a very strong defensive unit that is primed to lock down our opposition's main offensive options.

I much prefer Tony Snell’s combination of talent and fit. I’d give him and edge in both categories, and I don’t trust Fade’s offense nearly as much overall to continuously score.

Hard to vote against KD and Dr J combo and Snell has the better depth here. Vote Tony Snell

The House of Snell indeed has a nasty pair of weapons Fade doesn't quite match and Luc Mbah a Moute isn't changing that. I'm not seeing anything elsewhere that bridges it.

Gladly. Fade has neither an elite D nor elite offense. Tony Snell has better balance on both ends.
