Mock Off-Season 2018: Participation checklist

Post#1 » by Mich3006 » Wed May 9, 2018 8:08 am

The objective is to keep it as realistic as possible based on your teams actual direction and goals, not to make any unrealistic trades that could affect team chemistry. The goal you want to achieve is to do what each team will do in real life as close as possible rather than assemble the best possible roster of random players.

You can find all rules & regulations in this thread:

I will prefer the Knicks, but am willing to take over any team that makes this easy for you.

I'd also be fine with the Raptors if someone wants the Bucks. I took them last year and they were a lot of fun.

Actually scrap that. I'd like to take the Raptors. I think I got a firmer grip on what the Raptors are going to do over the Bucks.

I’ll take the Mavericks. Should be interesting. Going pretty much full rebuild. Barnes and Matthews will be on the move. Matthews in particular will be a $18.6 million EXP. Will be looking to add more youth and picks.

Please try to stay as realistic as possible. I know it’s hard not to trade 10-12 guys

Nuggets looking to build around Jokic, everyone else is fair game if you have the right kind of deal (i'd like to get a 2nd young star, in particular, at one of the guard positions).

I can’t praise this enough. We all need to be VERY methodical when it comes to roster movement. Operate like a real GM.

I would do it, but I think I would make a poor choice for anyone but the Blazers

You can have the Blazers though, didn’t like my choice anyway. I pick the Pacers.

Sorry, I assumed we were just defaulting to our last team (sixers)
