Though there was some misunderstanding in the deal.

I will defer to Ness - but I would not allow the trade. The Deadline passed and many trades in these games have been voided when there was no issues about the deal - the GMs just could not get them posted and confirmed in time - literally within minutes of the deadline. In this case - DCRYsing said there were 'misunderstanding" that probably accounts for no confirmation. IN addition, this was posted as an Or trade - which means there was no one deal agreed upon - Trades should not be posted until the players and assets are agreed to - which was not the case in this trade.
===========
Other matter - this game has a number of "combined trades" that seem like guys just tag onto - in my case I was dealing with one guy on one deal and it gets posted with other trades added - in other instances we have deals for "bags of chips or nothing". As often as I see trades that are not based on the actual CBA rule (use 1.25 when the $5M rule applies, etc. or no money is shown - It would be better to keep the deals simple, post them individually and accurately - or we can start voiding them for not correctly complying with the CBA).

PLEASE RESOLVE AND GET YOUR ROSTER UPDATED - PLEASE SEND RANKINGS TO ME SO WE CAN GET PLAYOFFS AND THE DRAFT SET UP

Scott.ins@aol.com

I went out of pocket last night and wasn't able to continue, but the deal we agreed to was 2019 MIL 1st and 2021 MIL 1st, I think he misread it when he agreed, but I wouldn't have agreed to either deal posted with the TOR 1st.

The reason I want a final lotto simulator is because MoneyTalks / LuessiT and Blazer50 (me) have all taken 2 teams on which we cannot vote (or trade within the game). That does change the odds from other GMs. There are always bias' in these games based on with whom you have been trading. We all naturally favor guys we have enjoyed working with and generally use that to make final close decisions - higher or lower.

DELETE - WILL GO WITH GM RANKINGS ONLY

Thought I had a decent way to simulate the draft lottery but it did seemed to Average to the Same as the Draft order- so we will just go with the Rankings.

. . .

It is important everyone get their rankings in so they are factored into the Lottery. I will use all the rankings I get to set the preliminary order. Get your rankings to me (and Ness). (Scott.ins@aol.com).

As soon as Trading is closed - PLEASE UPDATE YOUR ROSTER reflecting your 2018-19 DEPTH CHART on which the rankings can be made. I would like to have them by Saturday 9 am Pacific Time so we can get the draft order done.

NOTE: You will have 2 days to make deals once the draft order is determined before the draft is started.

We usually don't do a lotto so not doing one is fine, but if you still want to just let me know. I can have a random number generator pick a number between 1 and 99. Each team will have a block of numbers assigned to them (1-26, 27-52, 53-72, etc.). The 8 teams that don't make the playoffs are put in reverse order and the amount of possible numbers they get would be the following: 26, 26, 20, 13, 7, 4, 2, 1 (Worse team gets 26 numbers, third worst gets 20 numbers, etc). Basically recreating the ping pong ball lottery. I tried to roughly copy the basic odds breakdown the lottery actually uses but set up for 8 teams instead of 14.

We will be going with GM rankings. (My system worked as well - but more changes 4 to 8 than the top 3).

We have 7 Rankings in - Please get your's in ASAP so we can get the draft / Playoffs / etc. set and get the game moving on.

I'll get mine done tonight. Don't want to rush it so it's decently accurate.

But if he still wants to do the deal it will be up to Ness and Scott if it goes through.

Money felt since it was a misunderstanding we hadn’t agreed on a deal and as such it needed to fall through.
I had to agree, so my roster is updated

In pre-draft trades we're working with 2019-20 salaries, but that cap space is or isn't available yet?

When trading re-opens, I believe everything will have rolled over to 19-20, meaning expired contracts are off the books(assuming you've formally renounced the cap holds in whatever thread we're told to do it in).

pre draft can be done with the 2018 -19 salaries if you want to use them and include picks - or you can make draft day deals- which basically you agree to pick for each other and teh compensation - player to be announce can be dealt with the 2019-20 salaries - (or cap space).

Generally as soon as trading reopens - anyone not in the playoffs updates their rosters to 2019-20 and resumes the game -pending Free agency (so it is often slow as guys want to save cap space to see how they fair in Free agency). When teams are knocked out of the playoffs they can update their rosters and continue.

Hopefully a couple of days of trading with known pick spots - then the draft / playoff simultaneously for a few days - then into 2019-20. Still waiting for Ness schedule.

BE SURE TO CHECK THE DRAFT THREAD AND LET ME KNOW IF SOME OF THE UPDATED PICK INFO IS WRONG. i WANT TO BE ABLE TO LET PEOPLE KNOW WHEN THEY ARE DRAFTING AND ONCE WE START - AND WITH 2 ROUNDS - 30 PICKS - I HOPE PEOPLE WILL GET LISTS IN SO WE GET THROUGH THIS QUICKLY.

Since I like the site - I am going to change things up and auto draft using:

http://www.nbadraftroom.com

Mostly the same guys - I just like the comparison feature.

New York has 1, 16, 17 and 23 in the 2019 draft. I have had one inquiry for Zion - which was outstanding value but primarily future picks. To be honest, I will probably keep 1, but I am interested in seeing what combination of players and picks might be available.
Knick will have cap space for after draft deals
I am looking to build a contender after having tanked the 18-19 season.

Chicago would be interested in making deals as well. Bulls have 5, 8, 24 and 30 - targeting PG priority.

Indiana has #26 overall and is looking to move up within the second round. We are willing to package future picks with #26 to do so. Tell me if you see something!

Detroit always looking to deal and upgrade talent.

A lot of nice peices, basically everyone is on the block though by now most of y’all know who I find valueble and how valueble.

So far picking at 22, would like to move into a first, as a fair few know I am looking for wings in this draft.
I have nice peices available to move up, but unsure of what value you want, and I want to be sure I am getting one of my targets if I am moving in (so more likely a draft day trade)
But doesn’t mean we can’t negotiate now.

Also depending on Gorans decision I may have cap space if y’all wanna buy some of it I am always pretty trash in FA and the 22mil I will have won’t allow me much wriggle room.

Washington is trying to trade up to #1 but if that doesn't happen we're willing to move John Wall or the #2 pick.

I can but since it’ll be the first time I run anything may not be the smoothest.
Since I just studying for upcoming big tests I got a fair bit of time to procrastinate.

I've done it before, I can do it. Philly gets a first round bye as #1 seed right?
