A few of the guys I waived at the end of the season - Isaiah Canaan, Ramon Sessions, Ben McLemore, Alize Johnson, Edmund Sumner. But I mean these are guys that 99% no one would take until bidding or even after anyway. There's probably fifty other guys like that, not sure they all need to be included. Your call.

Free Agency Tier One Update:

The following players have all but signed deals. It is very unlikely that they will go elsewhere at this point:
Kawhi Leonard
Tobias Harris
Nikola Vucevic
Kyrie Irving
Jimmy Butler

The following players are still in limbo:

Kemba Walker. There have been A LOT of really, really good and intriguing offers for Kemba. He is really torn between 2-3 choices. He will make a decision likely at the last minute.
Khris Middleton
Marc Gasol

There is also a decent chance that wherever Kemba signs will have a domino effect on both Khris and Marc. Again, all three of these guys are still in limbo.

I'm just going to put it out there right now regarding Kemba Walker. He has had 4 amazing offers sent his way. 3 teams are likely going to be upset by wherever he signs. I'm still thinking through which of the 4 offers makes the most sense for Kemba. Again, I will begin announcing accepted deals at 9:30 PM EST tonight. I am going to have to make tough decisions here. Well, after striking out in our bid for Kemba, the Pacers are at a fork in the road. Before deciding which direction to go from here, we want to test the market for Blake Griffin. We would be looking for a rebuilding package - blue chip rookie scale guys, picks, etc. Not really looking for a lateral star-for-star type deal here.

You offered just a little bit more, not enough to move the needle. Money was basically the same. And it's not 100% about who offers the most money in every case, especially when it's only about $1.3 million more per year.

JJ wouldn't take the pay cut and knew he wasn't going to keep his starting job for another year. I would have liked to keep him around for up to $10M/yr, but I wasn't going to be able to afford both Bojan and JJ in any case.

Come on man. I have no dog in this fight. I try to find the best opportunities for each player.

And honestly, at this point, you're making the GM of the Raptors seem unlikeable, so free agents might be less willing to go there.

You can run FA next time and devote the time necessary, which only increases as the tiers move on. You'd be surprised at the tough decisions that need to be made, but someone has to make them.
