MIL/MIA have agreed to a deal.

MIA outgoing:

James Johnson $15,107,400 $15,794,100
Dion Waiters $13,310,000 $13,885,000
Cam Reddish $4,417,000 $4,638,000 $4,858,500
Denzel Valentine $3,377,568 $4,698,197
ORL '20 1st UP

= $36,211,968 (MIL has to cap space to absorb the salary.)

MIL outgoing:

Future cash considerations.

MIL accepts.

We get the ORL pick we should've gotten in the Freak Deal and a young prospect in Reddish. MIL isn't a free destination and is in the game of selling space for incentive. Good dealing MT.

Heat decide we want more cap rather than our stud prospect. Heat accept. Good dealing.

MIL/ATL have agreed to a trade

MIL outgoing:

Cam Reddish $4,417,000 $4,638,000 $4,858,500

$4,417,000 x 175% = $7,729,750

ATL outgoing:

Rui Hachimura $3,189,100 / $3,348,600 / $3,508,100 / $6,184,561 (TO) / $8,509,955 (QO)
Donte DiVincenzo $2,484,360 $2,909,640 $3,048,000 $4,681,728 $6,610,599

= $5,673,460

MIL accepts.

We prefer Rui as a prospect than Reddish and wanted DiVincenzo back with MIL as apart of our rebuild. Good dealing MT!

Eric Bledsoe $15,625,000 $16,875,000 $18,125,000 $19,375,000(UG)

= $15,625,000

CHA outgoing:

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist - $13,000,000
CHA '22 1ST UP

= $13,000,000 + $5,000,000 = $18,000,000

We wanted to get Bledsoe to a team trying to win right now. We like MKG. We also like the future 1st we get. Good dealing Riot!

Hornets agree. Bled is an All-NBA Defensive 1st Teamer on a team-friendly contract. We like his ability to potentially play alongside Kemba with their contrasting styles. Good dealing.

#3 DET - ORL

DET receives
Marvin Williams, Rights to Kevin Porter Jr, 2020 IND 2nd, 2021 ORL 2nd

ORL receives
Williams TPE

I have about 20mil in cap so although I had better value for longer contracts, but at the end of the day I have money in next FA, and unlike some GMs I like to keep it reasonably realistic  I will have 20mil cap again next season and with the amount of nice RFAs it’s a great time to have a little cap.
So then I can snag a couple young peices, a nice high pick, and have a solid defensive team set, making my rebuild quite successful in planned theory.
After your first, you change, you mature, you dont just jump into things.

After getting dunked on for the first time, life becomes complex.

#4

Boston Celtics get:
Dwight Howard $5,603,850
Zhaire Smith $3,058,800 / $3,204,600 / $4,915,856
The draft rights to the 26th pick; Daniel Gafford
Total = 8,662,650

Orlando Magic get:
Future considerations (cap space)

Boston has about 26M in cap to make this work.

Celtics accept. I like Gafford as a Center prospect & take a flyer on the “still unknown” athletic ability of Zhaire Smith. Good dealin Ben
BAF: Phoenix Suns
PG: Ayo Donaumu
SG: Franz Wagner / Ochai Agbaji
SF: Keegan Murray / Cam Whitmore
PF: Patrick Williams / Julian Phillips

Charlotte accepts. We ditch some salary, add picks back into the asset chest, and add two promising young big men in Washington and Gafford. We think Washington has a very high ceiling. Good dealing.

#6 DET-CHI

Detroit Receives
Jaylen Brown, TJ Leaf
9.3mil

Chicago Receives
Miles Bridges, Ante Zizic, Rights to Kevin Porter Jr, 2020 CLE 2nd, 2020 ORL 2nd, 2021 MIL 2nd, 2024 ORL 2nd
6mil

I am under the cap by 5mil so this works in the end.

Miles Bridges has a lot of potential, but Jaylen is proving he is likely to hit his.
Jaylen seems to constantly want to improve, and didn’t talk to much about the reduced role, so that humility is nice.
This gives me stronger wing depth now, and I love TJ Leaf I don’t even know why.
It’s a lot to give up, but in the end it’s basically miles Bridges and coinage for a great young prospect

Chicago brings in Miles Bridges - another high ceiling prospect who showed good progress in adjusting to the NBA Game in his first campaign - and while the expectations left something to be desired. I think he will get more comfortable with the surroundings in Chicago - in addition I think Kevin Porter Jr has tremendous upside and may prove to be the the best player in the deal. I also really like the production and upside that Ante Zizic brings - couldn't believe LAL game him away. And the Picks made moving Brown - coming off a down year - and easy reset. Nice Dealing Riles

Charlotte outgoing:
Eric Bledsoe - $15,625,000
Draft rights to P.J. Washington
Total = $15,625,000

New York outgoing:
Kevin Knox - $4,380,120
Guerschon Yabusele - $3,117,240
Future 1st TBD
CHA 2020 2nd
CHA 2021 2nd
Total = $7,497,360

Hornets accept. After signing Kemba to the supermax, we decided to punt on Bledsoe's deal in favor of cap savings and a blue chipper on a rookie scale deal in Knox. Good dealing, Scott!

I can’t think of a better center in this EAST only game to run with my big 4 than Jarrett Allen. He doesn’t need the ball, he just plays his role, blocking shots, running the floor, and rebounding. I needed the flush out the bench anyways, so Snell and Zeller although questionable contracts, they play their roles, especially on a squad like that Magic. Good dealing Carl.
