Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page.

First to 4 votes advances.

Kobe Bryant ( 2008 ) 20.6 - Voted peak season by RealGM PC forum, MVP
Dirk Nowitzki ( 2011 ) 16.2 - Voted peak season by RealGM PC forum, Finals MVP
Dikembe Mutombo ( 1995 ) 7.7 - Defensive Player of the Year, 12.5 rebs/3.9 blks per game
Metta World Peace ( 2004 ) 15.2 - Defensive Player of the Year, career highs in W/S & VORP
George Hill ( 2013 ) 11.5 - Career highs in W/S, 36.8% on 4.6 3PA
Danny Green ( 2015 ) 9.1 - Career highs in PER, W/S, BPM & VORP, 41.8% on 5.6 3PA
Kurt Rambis ( 1986 ) 3.6 - Started 74 games for 62 win team, 21.3 MPG, 11.8 rebs per 36, TS 63.2%
Charles Jones ( 1993 ) 0.9 - 67 games, 18.0 MPG, 8.3 rebs / 2.3 blks per 36

84.8/85

Dikembe Mutombo (38) / Charles Jones (8) / Kurt Rambis (2)
Dirk Nowitzki (38) / Kurt Rambis (10)
Metta World Peace (38) / Danny Green (10)
Kobe Bryant (38) /Danny Green (10)
George Hill (38) / Danny Green (10)

Good luck, LA Bird.

Offensively we have two top tier offensive weapons, Kobe and Dirk in their peak seasons. Pau is not a good cover for Dirk, who should go off. If Bird switches Zo onto Dirk he'll have little rim protection.

Defensively, we have DPOY Metta to challenge Mike. He can be occasionally spelled by Danny Green. It's as tough a cover on Mike as you will get. Deke/Zo, Dirk/Pau, Kobe/Battier, Hill/Porter - we match up well. DPOY Deke won't have to stray from the paint.

Starters
C: 2000 Alonzo Mourning (22/10/4/60). DPOY, All NBA, All Defense, 44% from mid range.
PF: 2009 Pau Gasol (19/10/4/62). All NBA, 44% from mid range.
SF: 2009 Shane Battier (7/5/2/57). All Defense, 38% from 3.
SG: 1991 Michael Jordan (32/6/6/61). MVP, FMVP, All NBA, All Defense.
PG: 1991 Terry Porter (17/4/8/63). All Star, 42% from 3.

Bench
F: 1980 Cedric Maxwell (17/9/3/68). Led league in FG%.
F: 1998 Jud Buechler (3/1/1/55). 39% from 3.
G: 1997 Ron Harper (6/3/3/54). 37% from 3.

Rotation
C: Mourning (36) / Gasol (12)
PF: Gasol (24) / Maxwell (24)
SF: Battier (36) / Buechler (8) / Maxwell (4)
SG: Jordan (36) / Harper (12)
PG: Porter (36) / Harper (12)

Writeup
• Laimbeer's offense outside of his top 2 is lacking. Artest shoots 15 times a game on below average efficiency and George Hill, Mutombo aren't major offensive threats either. Our #3~#5 scorers average 17.6 ppg on 64.0% TS to their 14.7 ppg on 54.6% TS.
• 2000 Mourning was a great mid-range shooter - only five players in the entire league made more mid range shots on higher % that year than him. Mutombo will absolutely be pulled from the paint unless Laimbeer want to concede high percentage jumpers or an open Michael Jordan coming off of Mourning's hard screens.
• Battier will guard Kobe with Jordan roaming off of Artest to help since Artest is an inefficient chucker.
• Peak MJ/Zo is a better 2-way duo than Kobe/Dirk. Our supporting cast is not only deeper and more talented but also a better fit.

This isn’t a super hard vote for me. I see LA Bird as having the best player and the better depth. Not a huge fan of Laimbeer’s offense tbh.

I agree with wack. Bird has far more offensive firepower and a comparable defense. Pau isn't a great cover for Dirk, but that's Laimbeer's only real advantage here.

Laimbeer's defense will scratch and claw to make this competitive, but Bird just has too many weapons and Laimbeer is too reliant on his superstars. MJ's ability to help off MWP and cause havoc elsewhere will put Laimbeer's offense into serious difficulties.

Better depth and higher talent level, have to go with LA Bird here. Dirk won’t be enough
