Smart on Butler
Drexler on Payton
Miller on Grant
LeBron on Mullin
Gasol on Hakeem
Siakam as free safety
This is a good matchup for us. Horace Grant can't guard LeBron, and he certainly can't guard any of my other starters. Mullin will have to hide somewhere as well.
Offensively, this team has a seamless fit. Gasol pulls Hakeem out of the paint. James slashes and kicks or finishes. Drexler is Wade with more range. It's kind of like a souped up version of the Heatles, featuring Clyde Drexler as Wade, Reggie Miller as Ray, Marcus Smart as Mario ************* Chalmers, and Pascal Siakam as Bosh.
It seems like Hakeem, Butler, and maybe Manute Bol have the privilege of guarding Pascal Siakam. That works in our favor.
Payton/Butler are both inside-out players. Jon doesn't have a lot of shooting on his team outside of Mullin and Bowen, neither of whom are high volume shooters.
We have the best player in the series, two All-NBA 1st team selections, just as many DPOYs, the best bench player by far, and a lot better spacing. Vote 8on
