The Teammates Draft (No Titles as Teammates) - Signups

1. Subject to the rules to be set out below, players from the 1989-90 season and the 2018-19 season will be available to be drafted. You can draft players that came into the league before 1989-90 but the season you choose can't be before 1989-90. Note: we may reduce the span of years if there are a smaller number of drafters.

2. You will select two players with each pick. The season selected must be the same for both and they must have been teammates that season. Each must have played at least half of the regular season games for that team. The teammates you select cannot have won a title together at any time in their careers. Players are considered teammates if they both played at least half of the regular season games for the same team.

3. You will be required to draft a total of 8 players. Each of your players must play a minimum of 8 minutes in your rotations.

4. Each player you select must have played at least 50% of regular season games in the season selected.

5. Your team will be allowed a combined total of 88.0 FGA corresponding with the specific seasons indicated for each player. You will be charged a minimum of 3.0 fga's for each player.

6. We will be doing a modified snake draft. It will go like this: ABBA

7. Players will get a maximum of a 2-hour window to make their selection when they are on the clock. If you still have not chosen a player by then, you will be skipped. Also, if you know ahead of time that you won't be available to make your pick on the clock then please PM your selection to myself or another participant. NOTE: If you miss one pick and have failed to make it by the time your next pick comes around, you will be skipped.

8. The clock will be turned off between 12 midnight and 9 AM EDT.

9. Draft order will be completely randomized.

10. After you have made your draft selection, please quote and/or PM the person that goes after you so they will know that it is their turn and they are on the clock. You may not change your pick after it has been made, even if the next person in the order has not picked yet.

11. The winner of the draft will be determined by a rankings and/or playoffs.

Can you please elaborate on winning titles together as teammates?

Are you saying they can be a champion but as long as it was when they were not on the same team or are you saying they can't have ever won a title ever in their careers? Thx

They can be a champion but as long as it was when they were not on the same team.

Just to be clear, if they won together on a different team from the one you want to use, are they still an ineligible pair?

Just to be clear, if they won together on a different team from the one you want to use, are they still an ineligible pair?

My understanding was that it has to be two players who played together who NEVER won as teammates.

So for example, you couldn't choose Shaq and Gary Payton from their Laker season because they eventually won as teammates on Miami.

I agree with MadNESS decision, Hornetsfan has quit too many games and it's an appropriate punishment. He can sign up for the next one.
