I changed my mind. I’ll play.

Listen, I have had him and MJ a bit too much recently. If we all agree 2013 LBJ is the most valuable player in our games generally speaking, wouldn't it be nice to take that away? 20 year old LBJ is a lot harder to build around, and is 3.5 FGA more than 2013. If I am in the middle of the pack I will certainly look at someone like Sophomore LBJ to give to someone in Round 1. There are about 5 guys I would definitely give before him, and then a bunch of guys on a similar level all things considered.

I'd rather face 2013 Lebron and an overrated All NBA player who possibly doesn't fit his style of play, than 20 year old Lebron and an MVP. Furthermore taking Lebron out of the pool also means the player who does it can't get him, or the pool is one less short of MVP level players.

Sure, I'll come along for the implosion.

I do wonder if there are enough truly bad all-NBA picks to noticeably handicap everyone - we shall see.

Should undesirables be forced to start and play a certain amount of minutes?

I'd lean to no since part of the strategy is whether to give them a major role or just eat the fga's. With the all-NBA requirement I'd be surprised if one gets buried as a low minute bench player.

They’re still all NBA level talents. I don’t see benching then being a good move anyway.

Quote bomb? Or just start? Not a terrible number.

I am mainly worried someone miss reads the rules and gives someone peak Lebron or MJ :D

I would like to do this during a lighter part of my schedule in case there's any hitches or drama, so I'll start this tomorrow night

The draft order will be as follows

9 picks 1
8 picks 2
7 picks 3
6 picks 4
1 picks 5
5 picks 6
4 picks 7
3 picks 8
2 picks 9

Therefore no two players will take each other’s picks.

There were 9 items in your list. Here they are in random order:
1. JRSmith_23
2. MadNESS
3. lilroddyb
4. Dr Positivity
5. Snakebites
6. wackbone
7. Laimbeer
8. Colbinii
9. parsnips33

Parsnips will pick JR
Colbinii will pick MadNESS
Laimbeer will pick lilroddyb
wackbone will pick Dr Positivity
JR will pick Snakebites
Snakebites will pick wackbone
Dr Positivity will pick Laimbeer
Lilroddyb will pick Colbinii
MadNESS will pick parsnips

Due to the unique nature of the game I hold the commissioner's right to not allow a pick in the first round if I feel it threatens the rest of the game, ie giving someone prime Jordan either by trolling or misreading the rules

So to be clear - first round, second pick Colb picks for me - last round, last pick I pick for parsnips

And then I have the second pick in the second round?

No, all sabotage picks will be made in the 1st round. Starting in Round 2 it's a normal draft, and yes you get 2nd pick.

Oh god, I have NO idea who to saddle JR with.

Okay, not NO idea. But you know what I mean. Didn’t want to go first.
