Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.
1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.
Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups.
Teams have 24 hours to post their writeup. If no writeup is posted, we will vote on roster pages.
First to 4 votes advances. If no one has 4 votes after 24 hours following both writeups, then first to 3 votes wins.

GL lilroddyb, though first round matchup
- We're starting with Nash on Deron, Richmond on Tmac, Magic on Manu, Brown on Dirk and Ewing on Sabonis. Yes this isn't a great defensive matchup for us but it's arguably even worse on his end if he starts Deron/Manu/Tmac with no strong answer for Magic in addition to nowhere to hide Deron who would get torched by Nash.
Both teams have explosive perimeters but if it's going to be a shootout we have arguably the two best offensive players in Magic and Nash and I'd also take Richmond over Deron. Our frontcourt is also more talented with Ewing and Brown as a better version of Ewing and Oakley, and another all-star in Amare who fits well with our Nash and Magic offense. His frontcourt has great floor spacing but aren't as good on defense as ours, I don't think he can stop my offensive team with this roster.
Our depth advantage will then seal it. We would take advantage of Allen's offense even in his prime, but note that he is using the Celtics version. Add that to 1990 Eaton and 1996 Barry and I think we have the two most useful bench players easily in Battier and Amare. Battier will play a lot of minutes for us guarding players like Tmac and Manu. We have the more talented team led by Magic and Nash and the better depth.

The one team I didn't want to match lol, great team Dr P and best of luck
Defensive matchups
Sabonis on Ewing
Dirk on PJ Brown
TMac on Magic
Manu on Mitch
Deron on Nash
Offense
offense is really versatile with elite spacing all around, good iso scorers and great playmakers.
overall
Dr P has clearly one of the strongest teams in the tournament. No major flaws with his team so I think the only advantages from my team is better spacing overall with everyone being fine threepoint shooter or midrange shooter outsite of Eaton and Tony Allen and I think my team fits better on the offensive end with better offball players imo while I think Magic and Nash are clearly at their best with the ball in their hands

I am going to need some more time on this one. Both teams went all in on offense with very little defense to be found.

Two very offensive-minded teams which should make for a wild matchup. Roddy does have the better fit - I see no possibility of Nash replicating his SSOL impact on this team - and Dr P doesn't have a viable cover for Dirk at all. Ewing as a defensive anchor is a major trump card for Dr P, as I don't think Sabonis or Eaton have nearly enough footspeed to plug the necessary gaps in a series like this one. Amar'e off the bench seals the deal, especially when you can limit the impact of his defensive foibles by stashing him on Allen.

One team has Patrick Ewing, Shane Battier and P.J. Brown playing big minutes.

They also have Nash, Mitch, Magic, and Amar'e playing big minutes. They have a few elite defenders, but them+Allen (Not including 90 Eaton) are far and away the best defenders, with Manu and Sabonis likely being the next two best.
So Dr P has the best 3/4 individual defenders, but my main point still stands. Very little defense overall, with superloaded offenses.

I think Dr P's team is a touch more balanced. I'm okay with Nash and Magic together- you might get a little bit of diminishing return putting them together, but I still think it can work. He also has Ewing anchoring the defense, though Brown will be of dubious use on Dirk.
I respect the decision to go all in on offense with the starting lineup for Wack, but I think he really undermines his advantage by playing Tony Allen 32 minutes off the bench. Sure, Allen can guard somebody, but basically having someone out there who doesn't need to be guarded makes your team feel a lot easier to deal with- and you still don't have a good defense. Ditto to 12 minutes of Eaton out there.
On the flip side, I do prefer Wack's overall fit with his starting lineup, at least offensively.
This is a very tough call. Overall I vote...
Dr. P
Just fewer flaws IMO.

Both Nash and Magic play their best as the primary playmaker and though it doesn't look like the best fit, it maximises Ewing and Richmond. Defense is not that good on both sides but DrP had a bit more offense.

Eh, I consistently get confused as to who's team I'm judging.
At least I can't be accused of bias for/against a drafter. I have no idea who you people even are.
