Rules out MJ, Magic, Chuck, Malone, LeBron, KD, CP3, Wade, and a bunch of current superstars. A handful of All-NBA guys too like Reggie and Klay. Maybe works better with a smaller group of players (10-12)?

What about this idea since we're trying to do one that doesn't involve LeBron?

It's either this or the "No MVP Wings and Guards". Both omit LeBron.

I like the second. The first is just going to be constantly going back to BR profiles to see if a player ever averaged 10 points or less - unless I'm missing something.

I'd also like to see a Last Franshise draft, similar to Fade's(?) first franchise.

Don't think this is a good idea because many of the drafters (including me) are on different timezones. It can be a thing for the American participants

I like both, I actually prefer the first. We all have good sense I believe to potential candidates here, doesn't require to go through all superstars... Second is also nice but I personally dislike drafts with too broad pools

Yeah I like the second but I feel like mine shakes the pool up a lot more.

Another interesting one is allstars only, including seasons they weren't allstars to make it fga feasible.

you have to pick and allstar, but you cannot use a season in which the player was an allstar.

How about no MVPs whatsoever? Straightforward idea and requires minimal research, if any.

Ineligible players assuming we start in 1989-90: Moses, Bird, Magic, Jordan, Barkley, Dream, David Robinson, Karl Malone, Shaq, Allen Iverson, Timmy, KG, Nash, Dirk, Kobe, LeBron, D-Rose, KD, Steph, Westbrook, Harden, Giannis, Jokic

Think we've done that a couple of times at least

Didn't know we've already done this multiple times. Perhaps we should opt for a more original idea.

I'd be willing to run either the <10 ppg game or the no MVP perimeter players one. Just depends on which one people prefer.

Ring Collector Clubs Draft.

Only seasons played in one of the top 5 clubs with most championships are valid: Lakers, Celtics, Warriors, Bulls, Spurs. 90s and onwards.

Also, have we done a Loyalists Draft? I know a Journeymen draft has taken place, but a draft where only players with at most 2 clubs played for in their career is challenging as well (minimum number of years in the league, say 6; or an obligation of one club 6-10 years; two clubs for 10 years onwards). For starts, most of the beloved 3&d cheap players are off the table.
