This is the kind of draft where BR's Player Season Finder being behind a paywall really hurts.

This might be the most unsure I have been about a team in a while. Wouldn't be surprised if I get beat in the first round or make the finals. Usually I can tell... or like with the last game once I saw I was up against Dr. P's squad I knew it would be a close one as his team was super talented.

I've found this one refreshing despite the challenging research.
A lot of the usual stars and role players are off the table.
You don't feel compelled to stockpile stars to keep up with everyone else, and can just focus on building a team that fits well together.
Having regular, flawed NBA starters isn't the end of the world.
It's much closer to how I prefer drafts to be, although preferably with a bit more depth in the player pool.

Starting Hedo Turkoglu is a testament to that lol

Turkoglu is exactly the type of player that will never get picked in a regular draft. Nobody is spending 14.9 on a non-star wing that isn't a good defender.
In fact, he was a very good NBA player who was either the #2 or #3 guy on a team that made the NBA Finals the following year. There shouldn't be anything odd about him being a starter, but that's just how it goes when the player pools are so loaded.

Is it overthinking it to use 2005 Shaq and using the extra FGA on peak Conley and about 2.4 more bench FGA?

Imo. Miami shaq was a liability defensively in the modern nba.

Also feels precarious to have Vince as your unquestioned lead guy - even peak Vince.

Was looking hard at JJJ but the price wasn't feasible for me.
My smallball lineup probably works better for a LeBron team anyway.

Had Herb Jones not been picked, I think I would have kept Pascal in his All-NBA form from this season. I just didn't like any of the options after Herb Jones and JJJ completes a pretty cool defensive-oriented team.
Love the shotblocking from Wade and JJJ and the defensive processing skill of Lowry, Siakam and Gasol. Allows us to go small too as needed.
