Just didn’t fit with Nash/Pau/Phil

Would be great with Peja at the 4 and shooters all over

You forgot to mention a certain guy who happens to be your first pick.

Agreed he'd fit nicely with Peja and the rest of your shooters though. Love Peja at the 4. He's 6'10''. I fully believe he would have been used almost exclusively at PF in the modern game.

Lmaoooo he’s fine with Kobe. He’s actually fine with Nash. It was more like Pau / Phil that didn’t work. He still put up nice numbers and balled out.

Phil was long gone by that season.

Dwight is not a bad pick for this center pool

You’re right, for some reason I thought Phil coached that year.

Dwight was who I was alluding to when I picked DAJ. I don't know how people will view Lakers D12.

I think he is still better than any version of DAJ. DAJ is cheaper though.

D**n you Snake. Bogut was my target and you already had Divac. I have several alternatives but I guess I have time to think.

Not that I could make the FGA’s work at this point, but I wanted Odom. Perfect 6th man.

I think I will start him, I want that additional playmaking so Steph can run off ball.

And with Odom hitting 38% of his threes, Steph and Mitch both at 44% and Brand with a great midrange jumper the lane should be wide open for Marion to do his thing.

About time Brook Lopez got selected. He's the only starting-calibre stretch 5 in the draft. I expected to see his name way earlier than the end of the 5th round.

I don't rate him as good with the Lakers.

I don't rate him as good with the Lakers.

He was already a volume 3pt shooter in 2018 averaging a respectable 34.6% from 3 on 4.4 attempts per game. He's the only Center in the draft who can exploit Shaq's / Kareem's unwillingness to play D on the perimeter.
