On the other hand this is an expensive duo- and I’ve already got Shaq. I’ve got 31 FGA left- probably need to commit to the right role players here. Not likely I’m getting more full-on stars barring a shocking drop.

Happy with the spacing of Lowry/Wade/George/Posey and Oakley/Korver off the bench [Korver at his peak].

We will see what's available to round out the roster but there is plenty of high-end talent left at the position(s) of need.

If you are using 23' Plumlee, you should use his FGA for the whole season (TOT), i.e. 6.1 instead of 7.1.

I should have taken PJ Tucker alongside Shaq over Bobby Jones.

Those extra FGA would have come in handy. I wouldn't ever start PJ in this but as a bench player it's though to beat that value.

I just forgot about him.

I definitely wanted Lowry but expected Colbini to take him if he fell that far (which I also didn't necessarily expect). I like Siakam alongside Shaq both offensively and defensively, and it allows me to use a super-cheap version of Bobby Jones as a backup guy.

I more or less accepted that I was going to be in perilous territory FGA-wise after my first 2 picks. I'd be lying if I said still needing to grab a starter at the end of the draft with the resources I have left didn't make me a little antsy.

Nah- you take the whole season. You're allowed to use that season because he played most of his games in Charlotte.

Don’t love that I may have gotten Pippen/Drazen because LR didn’t understand the rules.

Ah well.

Durant and Erving is probably my favorite superstar duo so far. They fit pretty well together.

I may have screwed up taking Kemba there instead of a role player.

Middleton was one of the last wings available with star like impact. Glad to get top ten defender ever big ben as well. Taking some searching this draft.

I almost took Billups with Middleton in round 2 but it felt too safe and I wasn’t sold on the possibility of future drops. That lack of faith proved justifiable- there wasn’t really a star wing in round 3 that got me all that excited as a fit with that group.

Pippen/Drazen was too talented to pass on.

By the way, I would have taken Tatum in round 1 had LR kept Pippen. I’m usually spooked by his high cost but he would have fit with any other star that may have fallen.

Yeah I'm completely screwed. Serves me right for taking Giannis second in a draft like this.

By the end of the next series, either Jimmy Butler or Nikola Jokic will have his first ring.

That’s cool.

What are your feelings about the concept? Are you feeling like doing it in the West as well? Anything you'd change?

I like the concept but not the player pool. Too geared towards bigs and on-ball wings. The West should be more interesting IMO.
