That’s cool.

Fifth straight season with a different champion too

I considered Cheeks with Tracy in round 2. Doesn't get enough credit.

Too much emphasis on outside shooting nowadays. Cheeks was a very good player.

Gilmore was also a player I considered in round 2. He was available to pair with James Harden, which would form one of the strongest duos available to pair in a single pick.

In retrospect, I should have gone Kawhi-Horford to start. The talent is similar to my pair but the team-building flexibility would have been far superior.

That was pretty tough considering I had four players to pick with all the restrictions. I could have went in many directions, but figured the talent of Gilmore was too good to pass up on. Blaylock seemed the best guard available for my team as well. Although I considered a couple other point guards and centers too.

I thought about pairing T-Mac with Cheeks too, but shooting of Cheeks scared me away especially on a team with LBJ. Also, I needed to save the FGAs to use T-Macs peak season.

I made a mistake in the third round. Underestimated demand for guards and overestimated the demand for stretch 4’s who play defense.

Might blow it up by using cheap Siakam as a backup and freeing up FGA to round out my backcourt better.

The options there have really thinned though…

George Hill was one of the other point guards I was considering (IND version). I felt like Mookie gave a bit more overall though, both offensively and defensively.

Oh wow I really didn’t think George Hill was going to go.

What a disaster.

Like I’m literally out of PG options.

Waiting on a PG will probably go down as the worst call I’ve ever made in one of these. Plan E just got picked. It…just doesn’t happen. I had so many potential point guards I didn’t think there was any chance they’d all get picked.

And there goes plan F. At some point all you can do is laugh.

I had a great team- destroyed in the last round. Wow.

There’s a few, but FGA and basketball fit is tough.

My backup plan at the 4 is still there. Sometimes you just make the wrong call. It happens.
