NOTE: TL:DR, this draft will work just like the previous Choose The Eras No Champs Draft, the differences are in bold in step 5. This draft will not begin until one of the two current drafts is completely over.

1. All NBA seasons from 1979-80 to 2023-24 are eligible, subject to the player pool determined by the participants.

2. You will be required to draft a total of 8 players in 8 rounds. Each of your players must play a minimum of 8 minutes in your rotations.

3. Your team will be allowed a combined total of 88.0 FGA with a minimum of 3.0 FGA per player corresponding with the specific seasons indicated for each player. Pre-merger seasons are multiplied by 0.85 (rounded to closest 0.85). NOTE: You may pick a player whose actual FGA number was lower than 3.0, but you still be charged 3.0 for that player.

4. Each player you select must have played at least 50% of regular season games in the season selected, and at least 50% of his games for an eligible franchise.

5. The player pool consists of the franchise decades chosen by the drafters during sign-up. Each drafter picked two franchise decade combinations.

a. Franchises chosen MUST have won no more than one championship in the chosen decade. For instance the 2010s Warriors are not eligable.
b. Franchises chosen MUST have won at LEAST one playoff series in the chosen decade. For instance the 2010s Pistons are not eligable.
c. Franchises selected will NOT be posted in the thread, but via PM. Your post in this thread indicating interest in participating should not include your chosen franchises- PM those to me. They will not be revealed until signups have concluded, if this draft moves forward. You will only be asked to replace one of your franchises if the franchise you choose is ineligable or already selected.

Drafters could choose any decade from 80s to 20s. A decade starts in the year x0' and ends on x9' (e.g. 90s is 1989-90 to 1998-99), expect 20s which is 2019-20 to 2023-24.

Any predecessor version of the franchise will also be included in the pool with your selection (if the franchise moved mid decade).

6. We will be doing a modified snake draft. It will go like this: ABBABABA.

7. Players will get a maximum of a 2-hour window to make their selection when they are on the clock. If you still have not chosen a player by then, or if the player you have chosen is ineligible, you will be skipped. Also, if you know ahead of time that you won't be available to make your pick on the clock then please PM your selection to another participant. NOTE: If you miss one pick and have failed to make it by the time your next pick comes around, you will be skipped.

8. The clock will be turned off between 12 midnight and 9 AM EDT.

9. Draft order will be completely randomized.

10. After you have made your draft selection, please quote and/or PM the person that goes after you so they will know that it is their turn and they are on the clock. You may not change your pick after it has been made, even if the next person in the order has not picked yet. Please note that the clock starts whenever the previous drafter has either made their pick or their two-hour window has expired, even if the next person is not quoted.

11. The winner of the draft will be determined by rankings, playoffs, or hybrid (depending on numbers).

Yeah, you're right. I'm probably jumping the gun a bit. I don't create many of these so I don't have a great frame of reference for how long it should fill up. The last draft I did filled up almost immediately. You would know better.
