Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.
1. Specific years for each player on your team 2. Rotations and minutes for each player 3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.
Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Please ensure you give a rationale for your vote; votes with no explanation will not be counted.
If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

Our roster is modelled on the 2004-05 Suns, but with two major upgrades: Robinson over Amar'e, trading one of the worst defensive bigs ever for one of the best, and T-Mac over young Joe Johnson as the secondary perimeter creator and backup PG. The transition game remains potent with multiple defensive playmakers (Robinson, Marion, Hawkins, T-Mac) to generate running opportunities, an uber-athletic frontcourt to run the lanes, and Hawkins trailing for threes. In the halfcourt, the Nash-Robinson pick-and-roll is our bread and butter, but we can also use T-Mac as the ballhandler in this action, or have him attack in isolation.
Matchup - Initial assignments are Nash-Cooper, Hawkins-Allen, T-Mac-Hill, Marion-Bird, Robinson-Deke. If Hill is running pick-and-roll, T-Mac goes under and dares him to take the long midranger. Robinson has carte blanche to ward off the paint with Deke being a non-threat offensively. - Needless to say, rather than try and go at Deke in the post, we will lean on spread pick-and-roll with Nash and T-Mac drawing Deke out into space where he's uncomfortable. Even the 2005 Spurs couldn't stop this action one-on-one, and they didn't have to deal with the additional variable of T-Mac being another elite creator. (Check out the 2005 playoffs if you doubt T-Mac's ability to wreck shop as a pick-and-roll ballhandler.) - With Deke having to show high against our guards, the rim area is open for Marion to do some damage as a cutter and offensive rebounder.

Defense
I think My defense is really good with some of the best defenders, three former DPOYs in Mutombo, Cooper and Alvin Robertson. Then good defenders in Grant Hill, Larry Bird and I guess nothing special defenders in Ray Allen and Brent Barry. Have no idea how Andrew lang was on the defensive end ( most likely terrible )
defensive matchup
Dikembe on David Robinson Larry Bird on Shawn Marion Michael Cooper / Alvin Robertson on TMac RAy Allen on Hersey HAwkins Grant Hill/Alvin Roberton on Nash
Offense
I got decent spacing overall with great threepoint shooters in Bird, Ray Allen and Brent Barry. decent ones in Cooper and Alvin Robertson so the spacing should be fine. Great offball players in RAy Allen and Larry Bird. Grant Hill can get anywhere on the court
Cooper and Robertson are both all time great defenders but both are quite slim against TMac. I think the synergy of Nash-DRob overcomes the somewhat clunky fit of Bird-Hill, and I don't like Hill having to guard a quick guard like Nash.
