Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.

You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

KJ(38) / Lowry(10)
Wade(38) / Majerle(10)
Majerle(20) / AC(28)
Jaren(28) / PJ(20)
Gobert(38) / Jaren(10)

Matchups:
KJ v Parker, Majerle mostly v TMac with sometimes Wade, Wade v PG13 mostly, sometimes Majerle, Jaren v Rasheed, Gobert v Unseld

What stands out is my team is considerably better defensively. TMac will likely defend Majerle and he'll be run into screens all the time chasing Majerle. KJ is a better player than Parker on both ends. He's a better shooter, penetrator, passer and defender. Wade and KJ are elite playmakers, wack doesn't have anyone on his team and his backcourt is dependent on having the ball and going themselves alot. PG13 is very inefficient this season and has to play off the backcourt. Majerle is great playing off my backcourt. The bigs are considerably in my favor, both dpoy and Jaren scoring well with a good outside shot. Rasheed is rather old and provides little other than a pretty good outside shot. Think my balance is better and better on both ends.

Tracy McGrady - 2003 - 24.2 FGA
Tony Parker - 2013 - 15.1 FGA
Paul George - 2013 - 14.9 FGA
Rasheed Wallace - 2008 - 11.3 FGA
Herb Jones - 2024 - 7.7 FGA
Wes Unseld - 1975 - (7.5x0.85) 6.4 FGA
Dwight Powell - 2022 - 4.9 FGA
Delon Wright - 2022 - 3.5 FGA
Total: 88/88 FGA

Rotations:
Tony Parker (38) / Delon Wright (10)
Tracy McGrady (38) / Paul George (10)
Paul George (28) / Herb Jones (20)
Rasheed Wallace (34) / Herb Jones (14)
Wes Unseld (38) / Dwight Powell (10)

Writeup:

Best of luck, migya!

Defensively we will start with Parker on KJ, PG on Wade, TMac on Majerle, Sheed on JJJ, and Unseld on Gobert. Herb Jones will also see significant time on Wade off of the bench.

I am very comfortable with my defensive matchups, especially with Herb off the bench.

I wholeheartedly disagree with migya's take about Parker vs KJ, ESPECIALLY with this being 1997 KJ who had good stats but no accolades whatsover. Meanwhile Parker was an All-Star and All-NBA 2nd. I also don't buy the fit between KJ and Wade who are both at their best slashing and I don't think KJ having an absolute anomaly of a 3 point shooting season is reliable from deep. Not sure I've ever seen someone with such an outlier 3 point shooting season, even Draymond has at least had at least a few attempts most years...

Yes, Sheed is older but it's not like JJJ is the a small-ball 4 who could truly take advantage of that.

Our clear three biggest offensive weapons are Parker, TMac, and PG whereas his are clearly 97 KJ, Wade, and Majerle. I think we have a decisive edge there in overall firepower that JJJ's edge over Sheed doesn't make up for. And 97 KJ has no business guarding any legit offensive threat, the clear weakest defender of the aforementioned perimeter 6.

We have pretty similar builds but I think it ultimately comes down to Parker>97 KJ and PG>Majerle being greater factors than JJJ>Sheed, which is significantly closer than the other two.
