Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.

You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

Total: 87.8/88.0

Our three-headed monster of Luka, KD, and Butler does the offensive heavy lifting. KD should thrive with a reduced workload, functioning mainly as a play finisher will Luka and to a lesser extent Butler handle the playmaking duties. Butler is an excellent cutter, and this spread floor should allow him to work as a quasi roll man for Luka at times. Turner slots in as a dynamite fourth option who roll to the rim or spot up beyond the arc. Green, Jefferson, and Barry provide additional spacing. Rodman brings value as a rim finisher and offensive rebounder, especially given the attention being drawn by our star trio. Defensively, we have a solid corps of rangy, switchable wings backed up by Turner's rim protection and Rodman's do-it-all skill set.

Matchup
- We'll go with Green on Isiah, Butler on Manu, Luka on Prince, KD/Rodman on Dirk, and Turner on Dwight. Given the lower volume shooting in Dr P's starting five, we should be able to guard straight up, but we can go to more of a switching approach against his second unit which can go 5-out.
- Beating a dead horse here, but I think this is another team that doesn't quite have the personnel for the specific challenges of guarding Luka. Prince is the only wing defender of note, and he's way too skinny to have a chance one-on-one. (That also creates the not insignificant challenge of Manu presumably having to deal with the bigger and stronger Butler.)
- Once again, Luka can also force even bigger mismatches by using KD or Green as a screener. In a vacuum Dirk tops this version of KD, but having to face defending this version of a scorer and potentially being dragged out to deal with Luka out in space is an onerous task for him. Rodman will also give him a warm time on the other end during their minutes together.

Good luck Dr P.

PG: Isiah Thomas (1986: 16.2 FGA)
SG: Manu Ginobili (2005: 10.5 FGA)
SF: Tayshaun Prince (2004: 8.8 FGA)
PF: Dirk Nowitzki (2011: 16.2 FGA)
C: Dwight Howard (2010: 10.2 FGA)

PG: George Hill (2015: 12.4 FGA)
SF/PF: Paul Pierce (2015: 9.0 FGA)
PF/C: Sam Perkins (1999: 4.2 FGA)

87.5 / 88

PG: Isiah Thomas (38) / George Hill (10)
SG: Manu Ginobili (32) / George Hill (16)
SF: Tayshaun Prince (34) / Paul Pierce (14)
PF: Dirk Nowitzki (38) / Paul Pierce (10)
C: Dwight Howard (38) / Sam Perkins (10)

GL Fadeaway

Defensive matchups: Isiah on Green, Prince on Doncic, Manu on Butler, Dirk on Durant, Dwight on Turner

- This is all about chemistry for us as I think a combo like Isiah, Dirk and Dwight is more complimentary than Doncic, Butler and Durant, and then after that we have the best 4th star in Manu. I'm not that worried about Butler's fit, but as this is Suns Durant, he could take turns beside him instead of playing off him like Lebron.

- Dirk guarding Durant is less scary when it's the Suns version and gives some of it back on the other end, and this being the 25 year old version of Isiah is key to take advantage of a SG on him in Green.

- He has the best bench player in Rodman however our combination of 2015/peak Hill, Wizards PIerce and Perkins is deeper than 06 Barry and 15 Jefferson. Having such a credible backup PG gives us some nice 4 out around Dwight minutes, and when Dwight sits we can have the 5 out lineups like mid 2010s Cavs Frye minutes being hard to deal with.
