Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.

You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

Writeup:

Helluva team as always Snake, best of luck.

Defensively we will start with Curry on Billups, Frazier on Drexler, Ariza on Peja, Barkley on Mason, and Sikma on Walton. Christie will also see time on Drexler off of the bench, with Frazier on Billups. Barnes will largely guard Williams.

I think we match up pretty well defensively. Barkley hides on Mason. Billups is great but the clear 4th option here so I'm not as concerned about Curry's individual matchup. No glaring weaknesses in defensive matchups.

Offensively Curry and Frazier split ball-handling duties - Curry is as effective on or off-ball, and Frazier was highly effective next to Earl Monroe so I don't see this pairing being an issue. Quite frankly I think they fit very well together. 2nd in MVP Barkley is the main threat down low, but don't sleep on Sikma. Ariza, Christie, and Barnes are the 3&D glue guys.

Drexler+Peja is a bit porous defensively as a wing duo. Peja can largely hide on Ariza but Drexler is in for one helluva series guarding Curry or Frazier.

I think it's more beneficial to have Ariza/Christie/Barnes instead of Jalen/Mason. Jalen is the best player of the bunch but Mason is a non-shooter which isn't ideal for big minutes with stacked rosters. Problem for Snake is that Mason is the only guy who can provide any resistance to Barkley, so he is essentially forced to play big minutes. Otherwise Barkley is rolling through Jalen.
