Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.

You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

G: Aaron McKie 97' - 4.4 - Pistons
F: Lauri Markannen 22' - 11.5 - Cavs

86.7/88

PG: James Harden 38 / Aaron McKie 10
SG: Ray Allen 38 / Aaron McKie 6 / Jimmy Butler 4
SF: Jimmy Butler 34 / Lauri Markannen 14
PF: Draymond Green 34 / Lauri Markannen 10 / David Robinson 4
C: David Robinson 33 / Tyson Chandler 15

vs

C Brook Lopez ( 28 ) / Chris Bosh ( 10 ) / Marcus Camby ( 10 )
F Chris Bosh ( 28 ) / Kevin Love ( 20 )
F Scottie Pippen ( 28 ) / Danny Green ( 20 )
G Danny Green ( 20 ) / Jon Barry ( 20 )
G Stephen Curry ( 38 ) / Scottie Pippen ( 10 )

Matchup:
- Defensive assignments: Butler vs Curry, Harden vs Green, Allen vs Pippen, Draymond vs Bosh, Robinson vs Lopez.
- We've got some nice matchups here. Butler and McKie are both well suited to disrupt Curry, and Draymond/Robinson/Chandler are nice counters against their bigs. 99' Pippen is less of a concern for Allen.
- Nets Lopez was less skilled defensively, so he might have issues with Robinson. Nowhere to really hide Steph unless Bosh guards some elite backcourt guy, which he's not well suited for.
- Ray Allen 99' was already elite offensively, hyper athletic and a great shooter (47% from 3 in playoffs). Wasn't yet an All Star, but only because All Star wasn't played this year (got All NBA votes).
- Harden Allen Butler form a superb backcourt trio which can apply tremendous pressure in all kinds of ways, with Robinson at the middle. Butler and Draymond already showed they work together well, and Draymond has many shooters who can thrive off his passes. Markannen is a superb sixth man, with DPOY Chandler as backup big. They're the two best bench pieces.
- iamgine has some nice defensive pieces but our defense should be much stronger which David Robinson as an anchor together with Butler Draymond Chandler.

2017-18 Stephen Curry 16.9
2013-14 Danny Green 7.4
2012-13 Chris Bosh 12.3
1998-99 Scottie Pippen 12.1
2016-17 Brook Lopez 15.6
2015-16 Kevin Love 12.7
2002-03 Jon Barry 5.3
1998-99 Marcus Camby 5.7

Total: 88

C Brook Lopez ( 28 ) / Chris Bosh ( 10 ) / Marcus Camby ( 10 )
F Chris Bosh ( 28 ) / Kevin Love ( 20 )
F Scottie Pippen ( 28 ) / Danny Green ( 20 )
G Danny Green ( 20 ) / Jon Barry ( 20 )
G Stephen Curry ( 38 ) / Scottie Pippen ( 10 )

Seems like our opponent pick non prime years. While they have big names, they were clearly not in their prime. Aaron Mckie is out of his depth in this one.

We'll run motion offense with Curry, that relentlessly targets Harden. Bosh/Pippen will act as initiators in split actions to create breakdowns. Lopez, Love, and Bosh would pull David Robinson out of the paint to neutralize his rim protection.

We have switchable defenders to flatten Harden's pick-and-roll actions, while keeping Lopez or Camby in drop coverage against Harden-Robinson actions. The priority is to keep Robinson out of easy post ups, wall off the paint, and force Harden, Allen, and Butler into tough pull ups or late clock isolations.
