Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.

You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

2024-25 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 21.8
2020-21 Draymond Green 6
2019-20 Anthony Davis 17.7
2007-08 Raja Bell 10
2014-15 Gordon Hayward 14.3
2007-08 Marcus Camby 8
2000-01 Brent Barry 6
2023-24 Gary Payton II 4.2

Total: 88

C Anthony Davis ( 28 ) / Marcus Camby ( 20 )
F Draymond Green ( 38 ) / Anthony Davis ( 10 )
F Gordon Hayward ( 28 ) / Brent Barry ( 20 )
G Raja Bell ( 38 ) / Gordon Hayward ( 10 )
G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ( 40 ) / Gary Payton II ( 8 )

We'll be mainly using SGA high pick n rolls with Anthony Davis while surrounding him with shooters like Hayward, Barry, and Bell to maximize spacing. This action can flow into secondary actions like spain PnR or post splits. Draymond serves as a secondary playmaker and short roll threat, while the team maintains elite defensive versatility by switching 1–4 and rotating Camby, AD, and Draymond to wear down Yao and disrupt post entries. We'll pressure Kobe into tough midrange shots, help off non-shooters like Knight and Isaac, and wall off Grant Hill’s drives with early help. We'll try to slow the game to a half-court grind to limit our opponent's transition threats and exploits their weaker spacing. By leveraging elite perimeter defense, rim protection, and efficient shot distribution, our team can force the opponent into low efficiency possessions.

Yao Ming ( 2005 ) 12.2
Andre Iguodala ( 2016 ) 5.7
Paul George ( 2018 ) 17.0
Kobe Bryant ( 2004 ) 18.1
Grant Hill ( 2000 ) 19.2

Jonathan Isaac ( 2024 ) 4.9
PJ Tucker ( 2017 ) 6.0
Brevin Knight ( 2008 ) 4.6

87.7

Yao Ming (36) / Jonathan Isaac (12)
Andre Iguodala (36) / Paul George (10) / Jonathan Isaac (4)
Paul George (32) / PJ Tucker (16)
Kobe Bryant (36) / PJ Tucker (12)
Grant Hill (38) / Brevin Knight (8) / Kobe Bryant (2)

We have a truckload of offensive talent. Both Hill and Kobe play the point at a high level, putting pressure on the defense. Yao is going to be a load for AD down low. We'll sag off Draymond and AD and invite them to shoot the three.

Yao/AD, Iggy/Green, George/Hayward, Kobe/SGA and Hill/Bell are pretty good covers. We'll sag off Draymond and AD and invite them to shoot the three.
