Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.

You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

Matchup
- Defensive assignments: Haliburton on Mikal, Holiday on Booker, George on Luka, Durant on Dirk, Gobert on Gasol. Ibaka sees some time on Dirk as well.
- Holiday, George, Prince are all great options to throw at Luka with occasional Barnes and Durant. I think we comfortably get the best of the Durant-Dirk matchup.
- Booker in 2020 wasn't much of a defender and not much of a playmaker either. Haliburton is a playmaking mastermind not less than Luka, but having Holiday as a second facilitator is meaningful.
- I don't see how they match up against us. We have too many perimeter threats while there is only one Mikal. Luka and younger Booker are going to be exposed, while Dirk needs to defend in space.
- Gasol 2020 is also older and much less reliable in the role of filling all defensive holes.
- Haliburton leading an offense with shooters all around him including two of the best shooters in recent history in George and Durant, plus an elite vertical threat in Gobert, is going to be pretty damn hard to stop.
- I think we win the bench comparison with three high level contributors in contenders/champions with rookie Powell on the other side who is very raw.

We have an offensive juggernaut led by two of the greatest offensive players of all time Luka and Dirk. Booker is an absurdly good third option. Durant could struggle a bit with Dirk in the post.

On defense Gasol Gobert, Dirk George, Bridges KD, Booker Hali, Luka Jrue.We are not a great defensive team, but we line up in such a way that I don't think there is anything too glaring. I don't anticipate George being as central to the offense as Durant. We also have the luxury of Gasol and Hartenstein being able to camp 48 minutes near the rim against two centers with no range.

In the end, I think our offensive power is superior and defensively we can get by in this setup.
