Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.

You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

Chris Paul 20' - 13.7 (OKC)
Kobe Bryant 09' - 20.9 (LAL)
Nicolas Batum 14' - 10.0 (POR)
Evan Mobley 25' - 12.8 (3rd pick)
Yao Ming 09' - 13.4 (HUO)

Mark Jackson 91' - 7.1 (benched AS)
Michael Potter Jr. 20' - 7.0 (DEN)
Isiah Hartenstein 23' - 4.0 (NYK)

87.9/80

Paul 35\Jackson 13
Kobe 38\Batum 5\Jackson 5
Batum 30\MPJ 18
Mobley 38\MPJ 10
Yao 38\IHart 10

Defensive assignments: CP3 on Dame, Kobe on Bron, Batum on PG13, Mobley on Horford, Yao on Chandler

My defensive match up is definitely solid.
I have no weaknesses, with all my players good defenders to receive DPOY votes over the years.

Bron is obviously the star player and I got historical defender in Kibe to cover him, with a great defensive big-men duo that's having a match up fairly easy against an older Al and offensive liability Chandler.

My offense is built perfectly for Kobe.
He is of course my No. 1 guy, can always score, and double it when it matters most, can always create, Mobley cam work as Gasol-type of player to Kobe and has some more versatile tools in his pocket to even improve it.
CP3 in a season where he improve his teammates more then, and lead a tanking team to a 5th spot and almost a 2nd round appearance, just imagine what he can improve such a talented team.
Next piece in Yao, who's having a size advantage against anybody ever, and will limit even Chandler's great rebounding and rim-protection.
I cover it up with endless shooting and spacing with AS-caliber prime Batum and a great fit bench to maximize this team into modern day for a team Kobe never had before.

PG: Damian Lillard: 19-20 20.4 FGA- All NBA 2nd
Category: Portland
SG: Paul George 17-18 17.0 FGA- All NBA Third
Category: Seattle/OKC
SF: LeBron James 19-20 19.4 FGA- All NBA First, FMVP
Category: LA Lakers
PF: Al Horford 17-18 10.5 FGA- All Star, All D 2nd
Category: Third Pick
C: Tyson Chandler 11-12 5.7 FGA- DPOY, All NBA 3rd
Category: New York

B: Christian Braun 23-24 5.9 FGA
Category: Denver
B: Detlef Schrempf 99-00 5.6 FGA
Category: All Star Turned Bench
B: Dikembe Mutombo 06-07 3.0 FGA
Category: Houston

87.5/88 FGA

Lillard (37)/Lebron (11)
PG (30)/Braun (18)
Lebron (27)Schrempf (14)/PG (7)
Horford (37)/Schrempf (11)
Chandler (36)/Mutombo (12)

This team is built to absolutely hum around LeBron. The second, third and fourth options are all terrific outside shooters at their positions, and Chandler, my fifth option, will be elite as a roll man here. The size of my wing combo coupled with Lillard’s gravity as a shooter makes my team extremely difficult to guard.

I think Ringer is asking too much of Kobe. Putting him on Lebron is a major misstep. He’s too small to guard Lebron, and making him try is gong to tax the only elite scorer on Ringer’s team. And he’s also got prime PG13 covering him on the other end.

Yao Ming is also in a tough spot here- I really can’t imagine him defending in 2020 era space, which my team definitely has. Mobley helps some in that regard to be sure, but it’s still a potential weak spot- I don’t think Yao’s rim protection transfers well to the pace and space era.

Paul George in OKC was still a terrific defender and I think he covers Kobe well, and Kobe is the only elite scorer on this team- which contrasts wit my team that has a pair of elite volume scorers who were both a lot more efficient than Kobe. He has solid supporting pieces but I feel more comfortable with the trio of Lebron, Dame, and PG from a scoring perspective.
