Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, you may post a vote by commenting to this post (notice we will not be using a poll) - all participants of the draft are invited and encouraged to post a vote, so as other regular participants of the games in the forum. You are not required to explain your vote, but you are welcome to do so if you want.
The team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance / win championship (depending on round). If a team gets 4 votes before 24 hours, then the first one to do that auto advances. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.

We flank Jokic with a star-studded cast that can complement his unique set of skills. Butler's mix of off-the-dribble chops and smart cutting allow him and Jokic to run a variety of actions. Reggie will be devastating running defenders around screens to get on the end of Jokic passes. Lowry can run high pick-and-roll with Jokic as well as spot up off the ball. Sheed can play the stretch 4 role but also gets to post up weaker defenders with Jokic and Butler drawing most of the attention. FVV and Lee provide spacing off the bench, while Diaw can function almost as a mini-Jokic with his playmaking out of the high post. Defensively, Sheed and Butler do the heavy lifting in the frontcourt, while Lowry and FVV apply relentless pressure at the point of attack.
Matchup - Defensive assignments are straight up. The Lowry-FVV tandem will take turns pressuring Steph and chasing him around screens. Sheed is an excellent post defender to throw at Pau. Reggie vs. Ray is mutually assured destruction with both being in their 30s and not amazing defenders, but I'd argue Reggie's postseason track record gives him the edge here; in 1999-00 he averaged 24 ppg and a tick below 60% TS on a team that made the finals, and he was still ramping up his numbers in the playoffs for a couple of seasons after that. - These teams are somewhat similar in construction offensively, but I think we have a key advantage in terms of putting pressure on the rim and generating easy baskets and free throws. Not only is Jokic one of the most unstoppable post scorers ever, he's also a master at setting up rim attempts with his passing. Jimmy's ability to attack off the dribble and draw fouls isn't replicated by any of Larry's perimeter guys. Even Reggie has a great FT rate for a guy who is primarily a jumpshooter. Larry's group can generate shots at the basket through off-ball movement and execution, but those are harder to come by against a prepared playoff defense. - We're in a better position to guard on the perimeter with Lowry/FVV/Butler/Lee, with Reggie being the only weak spot in the rotation. I think Larry's starting backcourt of Steph and Ray is pretty vulnerable in this regard, although Smart obviously changes things when he comes in.
Larry had a real good team. Looks weird with the 3 goat shooters but it’d legit work and be terrifying. Fade just has the perfect team around Joker tho
