Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, you may post a vote by commenting to this post (notice we will not be using a poll) - all participants of the draft are invited and encouraged to post a vote, so as other regular participants of the games in the forum. You are not required to explain your vote, but you are welcome to do so if you want.

First to 4 votes wins. There is no AI vote when the host is playing in the matchup.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

C: Bill Walton 38 min / Steven Adams 10 min
Pf: Pascal Siakam 38 min / Robert Horry 10 min
Sf: Robert Horry 26 min / Thabo Sefolosha 22 min
Sg: Vince Carter 38 min / Kyle Lowry 10 min
Pg: Tyrese Haliburton 38 min / Kyle Lowry 10 min

1977 Bill Walton 14.3
2025 Tyrese Haliburton 13.8
2025 Pascal Siakam 15.2
2006 Vince Carter 19.2
1995 Robert Horry 8.3
2025 Steven Adams 3
2010 Kyle Lowry 6.8
2016 Thabo Sefolosha 5

tfga: 85.6

The team is like an upgraded finals pacers team with Bill Walton and and Vince Carter added to the mix. I think the offense will be awesome with great spacing all around athletic freak in Vince Carter catching lobs and Bill Walton doing his thing.

Defense

Bill Walton on Hakeem
Pascal on Scottie Pippen
Horry on Detlef
Vince Carter on Clyde
Haliburton on Dame

Defense should be ok despite Haliburton and Vince Carter

Overall

Jon build a great team around Hakeem so not much to nitpick. Best of luck Jon

PG - Damian Lillard (38) / Delon Wright (10)
SG - Clyde Drexler (34) / Delon Wright (14)
SF - Scottie Pippen (26) / Jared Dudley (18) / Clyde Drexler (4)
PF - Detlef Schrempf (36) / Scottie Pippen (12)
C - Hakeem Olajuwon (38) / Manute Bol (10)

2019/20 Damian Lillard - 20.4 fga
1990/91 Clyde Drexler - 16.3 fga
1999/00 Scottie Pippen - 10.5 fga
1990/91 Detlef Schrempf - 10.1 fga
1992/93 Hakeem Olajuwon - 19.5 fga
2021/22 Delon Wright - 3.5 fga
2018/19 Jared Dudley - 4.1 fga
1985/86 Manute Bol - 3.5 fga

87.9/88 fga

Gl Roddy!

I think a big reason we squeak out the win here is Hakeem’s two way talent and size. As good as Walton is I think Hakeem just has too much size and skill that should dominate Walton in the post. We have good matchups against Roddy’s team here too, Pippen is a good matchup against Siakam and I can put Schrempf on Horry which helps, and Drexler has the athleticism to stay on Vince

Lillard on Haliburton
Drexler on Carter
Pippen on Siakam
Schrempf on Horry
Olajuwon on Walton

I love both starting lineups. I like roddy's bench better than Jon's.

I think roddy's starting lineup is more cohesive. Will give a slight nod to roddy.

Really fun matchup.

Jon has a very good starting 5 that have the edge for me here
Both teams have notable defensive flaws but I think Jon’a trio of Scottie-Detlef-Hakeem covers his better

Vote Jon
