GM a TEAM Rules
Trading:
1. Trades must obey the rules/restrictions of the current NBA CBA. The very best FAQ online is larry coon's. That site will be used to settle any arguments.
a. Trading consecutive 1st round picks will be allowed.
b. GM's do not have to observe rules regarding re-trading players. They are immediately eligible to be traded
c. rosters must never be over 15 players. no trades will be allowed if you do not meet this limit
2. NBA salaries are not made public but through different leaks, media reports, and estimations, several websites have been able to create spreadsheets with current estimated salaries. The one that will be used in this game is Shamsports. Please get your salaries from that site.
3. When a trade is agreed to, one GM must post the trade and all other involved GM's must post their agreement to the trade.
4. Trade will be approved after 12 hours of being posted and accepted.
5. All posted trades must include a small explanation of why this trade is beneficial to your team and your direction. This may be done in the initial trade post or in your acceptance post.
Veto process:
1. All veto requests must be sent to dcash4 via email (dennismorales@hotmail.com) or through AIM (dockingscheduled)
2. Once request is received, dcash4 will use your trade explanation and his own judgment to determine if the trade should be vetoed.
3. Your veto request privilege will be stripped after two failed requests.
Rosters:
1. Each general manager is responsible for updating their roster post in this thread after their trade is approved.
2. General manager should include contact info (email, instant messenger), players including contract value/length, current draft picks.
3. Signing Free Agents is not allowed.
Activity:
1. General Manager should keep consistent contact with other gm's. You are not expected to answer every email every day, but please keep a reasonable amount of contact with fellow gm's. if you simply lose interest or cannot commit time to it, please feel free to step down.
2. Lack of activity can result in dismissal from game.
