GM a Team Post-Draft Roster Thread with salaries

Post#1 » by skorff26 » Fri Feb 13, 2009 5:19 pm

I would like the rosters to be reposted with salaries listed. The main reason is this way we can find out how much team salary everyone has, and to find out who has cap space for free agency. Also quite a few teams do not have their rosters updated on the roster page, so if we repost it hopefully we can get that all cleared up as well.
What we need on this thread
1. updated rosters
2. 2009 salaries of the players on your roster, if your player has a player option or an early termination option that has been resolved in the free agency information thread. if you have players with team options, e-mail bcortell and tell him if you are keeping your players and if so put them on your rosters as well. If you are extending a qualifying offer to your player, put that amount on your roster page as well.
3. sign recently drafted players
-for 1st round picks use this thread
http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=9301
and multiply the salary that is listed by 1.2 to get that players 2009 salary
-for 2nd round picks can be signed for 457,588
4.calculate total salary of your team

-I think that is all that will be needed

I would like to see total team salaries for not just this year but the next couple as well.

Restricted Free Agents also need to have a tax hold number so we know how much room a team has to make deals.
