to be clear, we're drafting the contracts with the players, right?

Yes, we inherit the contract of whatever player we draft.

Me too! Thought it would be good to set an early time to get it rolling because I'm looking forward to it. I don't think we'll have much time getting fairly prompt picks once we get going.

I'm going to seriously struggle to find someone that I want after forty picks, lol.

Dominique Wilkins $2,820,000, this was actually a hard choice but I am doing this anyways for reasons I will not explain.

With the 3rd overall selection the Build a Dynasty Contraction Draft, the Detroit Pistons are pleased to select. . .

Image

Clyde Drexler!!

One of the BEST wingman in the entire league, a season average of 22/6/5, it brought him the honor of finishing on the All-NBA team, and his long awaited goal of an NBA championship. He's the perfect piece for a contending team, but not for just a one year rental either, roughly 19/6/5 for another three seasons and more all-star appearances to his prestigious career. An efficient scorer, devastating all around player, and above average defender. People don't realize the impact he had on that Rockets team this season (21/7/5 with Houston on 50%), he helped turn the Rockets around, and was a crucial piece to the Rockets, as a 6th seed win the NBA championship. His play was elevated in the playoffs, and even more in the finals, averaging nearly a triple double, averages of 21/10/7. Clyde the Glide, the best player available, and with no standout pick available, he definitely had to be the pick.

Selecting on behalf of BlackIce, who is away, they are pleased to select (at least I hope), Latrell Sprewell!

The Nets are pleased to add Sprewell because he brings much needed wing scoring to the New Jersey Nets team, and brings it while at the same time adding defense to the roster.

Dallas Mavericks Select.

Rod Strickland

Image

We already have a stacked back-court but we could not pass up on Stricklands production. He is injured for 20 games his first two seasons but he is available for the play-offs. He only misses 6 games total over his last two seasons.

19.2 PTs/9.5 AST/3.5 REB

Not to mention he only costs us an average of 5.43 million dollars over the course of his 4 year contract.

The Hawks select Cliff Robinson, a fc high scoring compliment to Smith who fits the age of their core.

Barros is a 20ppg 7apg allstar and one of the best 3pt shooters in the NBA.
