GM a Team 2010 - Free Agency

Post#1 » by roc » Sun Nov 8, 2009 1:08 am

Free Agency signings will start in one week. Before you even think about sending me an offer sheet make sure your roster is COMPLETELY up to date. Remove all 2009/10 salaries as we are now using 2010/11 salaries.

You need to have all years of player salaries, Team Salary with and w/o options for 2010/11, Depth Chart, Assets, Transactions List, contact info, and any cap hold info for empty roster spots below 12($474,000), unsigned newly drafted players, and FAs.

Check the links for cap hold info...

Some names need to be added and some removed. If you have turned down a TO on a player and they are on not on this list, let me know. If you have signed or extended a player and they are on this list, let me know.

Thanks for the help as I no longer have the list I was keeping due to formatting my hard drive after it was corrupted.

The roster charge should only be $473,604 as that is the minimum rookie salary for 2010-11.

And we can't send in our offers for a week? Or is that when FAs will start to sign?

Offers can be sent in right now if your roster is up to date as per the OP and FAs will start to sign starting next Saturday.

As for roster charge I am keeping it at an even $474,000 since the cap is more than what it will most likely be in real life.

So what should I be paying my 2nd round pick rookie?

Don't worry, I will submit my offers during this week. I have been extremely busy the last week, but my offers are coming.

Commish, I'd like some clarity on the Wade situation. He has a PO and hasn't really "declined" it, but he's listed as a free agent. I just want to confirm that he's declining that player option.

All players listed that had a PO have declined their option. All players that had a PO and are not listed chose to pick up their option, ie Yao MIng, etc.
