other than the voting in the semifinals, i thought this was a very successful BaNT contest. the draft went by in an incredibly efficient manner. writes up for the most part all present. good job everyone. cant' wait for cellar's next game.

1) It will be 16 teams. The tournament format will be very similar if not identical to the other in terms of how its set up. We may end up having judges for it as opposed to general voting. Not sure yet.

2) Yes there is a draft. It will probably be a modified snake (ABBA as opposed to ABAB) to make up for the slight advantage to top picks have.

3) Its like build a team, but you choose from all players in NBA history. This particular one will likely require you to select players from at least a few different decades.

4) Re: Trading. Sometimes there is, sometimes not.

I'm currently in the process of moving house so for the next week or so I might be without constant internet access. I'd be interested, but it would depend on when it's kicking off.

When I discussed this with Cellar he said ABA numbers and such would be admissible. As always, though, it will be up to those who draft them to determine how to evaluate and defend that.
