I know raw single game +/- isn't a meaningful stat in isolation but thinking grander I was thinking about how a lot of substitutions can happen in-between FTs.
Now FT drawing impact might be messy for the non-shooting player but it would reason to me that a player who is on the court when the foul was drawn had more to do with the full points added than a player substituted in halfway thru.
now I'm sure this doesn't seem like a major deal granularly but I'd be curious if anyone had a dataset that took this into account already. to be precise a PM dataset that counted FTs made to the players on the court when the inciting foul happened.
