Where do I begin to make sense of these stats? I understand win shares and obviously older stuff like +-, I just feel like I am so far behind with these stats. Any places have good explanations of these stats or maybe which stats are the best to go by?

RE: they are the best unit of a long time right now - but can you imagine this very same unit together in their physical prime and some time to gel?
With physical prime contract$ = no.
RE: HireIsaiah
basketballreference is great. OFF Win Shares + DEF Win Shares vs Offensive Rating + Defensive Rtg vs Usage % (low usage = role player), REB % etc.
Tyson Chandler had the highest Offensive Rating on record at 133. DAL had leaders in steals 3 pointers and all Chandler had to do was dunk and rebound. Shows how you can use 1 star (Dirk) and efficiency solid 2 way role players to emulate star level impact.
