Back to back games are always tricky and especially when old legs are on the team.

I agree, that makes sense and i did take that into considerations. But i figured it was the 2nd game of the season so why would they be tired already. They only went from Boston to Cleveland its not like they went to LA. And imo the Cavs should be one of the worst team in the league this year, that -4 line was just too good to pass on, and i even tried to have some insurance on it and took the ML too in a parlay.

I'm 0 for everything in the 2 days, gotta make some adjustments. No more parlays is the 1st thing.

I'm big on Orlando -7.5 tonight. The Magic haven't had any particular problems problems with D'Antoni's style the past couple seasons. Mozgov is already foul prone and is going to be out of there quickly against Howard. And coming off of a bad loss to the Heat I don't think the Magic would take the foot off of the pedal until the game is well out of hand.

Postponed and you felt good about the line, not good.

I decided to go with the Hawks.

I stopped posting in it because everyone else did, but I started merging topics around the boards to it, and now it has some life. Lack of exposure.

Awesome thread, didn't know it existed. I play on Bodog, i've made a couple hundred dollars so far this season and will gladly take any advice/tips/hints I can get.

Couple early picks for tomorrow I got down already.

San Antonio -1 @ Phoenix
Jazz -10 1/2 vs. Toronto

Staying away from,

Hornets +4 1/2 @ Houston -4 1/2
Dallas +3 1/2 @ Denver -3 1/2 <------ But I'm kinda leaning toward Dallas with Denver's injuries, etc.
Bobcats +2 @ Nets -2

Continuing to learn more and more about this. My new thing is paying attention to line movement and it was pretty hardcore in favor of the Cavs on the game. One of those trap games they say. I already miss hit bad on it with Bos vs Cavs so decided to play Cavs....accidentally picked Hawks by hitting the wrong button and won.

My luck has been **** though all season. Still in the negative but slowly getting back to even day by day.

I'm a new gambler but trust me, Bodog SUCKS!!! I am on bodog because i have a year long bet with them, but once i get the my i put in back i'm off to a better site that day. The lines come out ridiculously late and they are typically 1/2 point different then other places. Cant bet on 2nd,3rd,4th qtrs. They put up line for some games even late then others, for example the LAL vs Memph line yesterday didnt come on till VERY late.

As for your picks. I dont like any of them. The games you wanna bet on are tough calls imo, the games you're staying away from have better value. Houston is undervalued cause of the slow start they had, but they are a much better team then that, and its the opposite with Hornets. Public is heavy on Hornets right now so the line should get better for the Rockets too. And Mavs are suppose to be a good road team, while Den is not as good as they were last year.

Nets would be my homer pick, which is usually a bad idea, but i like them, i dont think Bobcats has anyone to stop Brook with Chandler gone, and they lost to the Nets twice last year. Plus Bobcats defense is awful.

Indiana - I like them tonight, but my concern is that it's on the road. Indy -2

L.A. Lakers - I like the ML here and will most likely parlay it with a College Football game. Still deciding if I want to go -5.

Some guys are saying LAL are in line for a lackluster game. Last year they had trouble staying motivated and after 2 blow-outs in a row it might be a let down game for them. Thats how they explain the line being fairly low. A "soft" -5. They also say the Kings played good teams very tough at home last year.

I dont buy it. I think the line is low because the Kings are 3-1 (even though they played 4 crappy teams), and LAL are on a b2b (even though they rested everyone in the 4th yesterday). I think LAL is motivated to keep up with the Heat for the best record this year and will keep winning.

I used a free play on the Indy game and felt fairly positive about the game. Indiana just failed to show up and Philly came to play after the OT game last night. Wow!

Got the Jazz right, damn Spurs gave up their lead, hopefully they can come back.

Also took the Lakers at -5
Clippers at +8

Looking like a goodnight for me if some of these scores hold up.

Nice job to both of you.

With my free play from my book I took Indy -2 and we all know how that turned out.

I ended up going with LA -5 with my own money.

I also did the following LAkers ML, Ohio (CFB) ML. Lakers -5 & Ohio (CFB) ML.

Tonight I've got Chicago/NY under 205. People think of the Knicks as this incredibly fast paced team and think of Chicago as a dynamic scoring team with Derrick Rose. But this season neither NY nor Chicago are in the top 10 in pace. Both teams are in the bottom half of the league in offensive efficiency.

It worked out fine... Took them against the wolves using the same rationale. (After a bad loss they wouldn't take the foot off the gas) and that worked out pretty well.

For friday I just started to look over the lines and here are two that I plain on considering.

Milwaukee +2 at Indiana -2
Utah -1 at Golden State +1

At first glance Milwaukee and Utah interest me. Thoughts?

The only open bet I have at the moment is Lakers -5 from Wednesday & Iowa (CF) ML.
