Wow, you just revealed some shocking ignorance there.

Tip: When railing against advanced stat guys, only name check controversial stats. If you don't know which stats are controversial and which are accepted by everyone who understands them, then don't rail against advanced stat guy until you have some idea what you're talking about.

Thank you.

Honestly blown away by people who simply assume a stat is crap without understanding what's going on. When a team loses to a good team, every single one of us knows that that's not necessarily a damning thing. It should be obvious that that's what SRS is doing.

Beyond that, early in the season the divergence between SRS and W-L record says really GOOD things about SRS. We all know that strength of schedule early on is all over the place, and hopefully no one is taking records that seriously right now without considering how the team has actually played and against who.

It weighs strength of competition and margin of victory

Rocket's srs is decent because they're losing by small margins to good teams

too small a sample size to take it that seriously right now though

WTF...How is that possible?

Ok sorry I'm not trying to bash LeBron or invite others to bash him (though that will probably end up happening)... but seriously how can you be built like LeBron and get zero offensive boards?

Heat Fans - serious question : Is it just the system that he's in? Any other plausible possibilities?

And yes everyone else other than Heat fans F off.

Tip: Whenever you make fun of advanced stats, point at PER and Win Shares.. not TS%, because that just makes you look silly.
