Charges Drawn Stats?

I was wondering if anyone knew a site that kept Charges drawn stats, especially for the 2010-2011 season? I saw an article on NBA.com that listed the top players and gave stats for the top 10 but I wanted to see numbers for the whole league.

There is a site that keeps the Data. I think it's hoopdata.com.

I usually go to Hoopsdata but they didn't have those stats this year.

Should have known that you knew about hoopdata..lol Sorry, I came from a site where people only use twitter
and ESPN for stat information and didn't realize this. I really wonder why they didn't keep track of this. That kind of makes me angry, now I am wondering too. Please PM me if you find out anything.

I found this from someone on the Knicks board: (sorry didn't quote)
"Charges Drawn are being inaccurately under-reported in play-by-plays this season, so the numbers for the 2010-2011 season are massively inaccurate and should be ignored. Unfortunately, it appears there is nothing we can do about this because there is nowhere else to get the data publicly. Sorry for the inconvenience."

IMHO that's not accurate.
Probably the most reliable source [ESPN] simply modified a way in which they display charges in play-by-play data so it's harder to do identify them but I think I did it [and numbers are pretty consistent with previous seasons]:

That's what Hoopdata said; previously they posted the numbers for other years.

Um, I have quoted exactly the same answer! Only this time we know who was the source ;-)
Anyway, how can they be so badly under-reported when number of charges I found from last season was slightly bigger than in 2009-10?

I track them for the regular season (~200 game sample) and the entire playoffs. The RS rates are pretty accurate for players with decent sample size.

How do you track them?
And which players would be in your Top10 Charges Drawn for 10/11 season?

I stat-track games.
http://www.backpicks.com/stat-tracking/The regular season sample this year was around 200 games if I recall. I count a "charge" as an offensive foul that isn't from a moving screen. Off the top of my head, guys like Nick Collison and Glen Davis were charge-taking machines.

ElGee, I see that your stats vary a bit for a few players from 82games.com.
Stats.com provides the best stats around, that I have seen from samples. Instead of what espn does and labeling a loose ball and a charging foul as an offensive foul, Stats.com labels them how they are called. Travel...loose ball, charging...ect. It's amazing. They provide stats from the 2002-2003 season. I would really like to see Lebron's charges since he was in the league till now. I am sure you would have to pay money for the stats, but asking for donations and even putting ads onto your site might even get you recognized to work for other sites such as BBALL reference..ect.

Speaking of drawing fouls, this week on my blog I started collecting those numbers for different types of fouls in the last 5 years...
