Should margin of victory be weighted...

... by record of teams beaten? I know SRS takes both MOV and SOS into account, but beating the Heat by 20 points isn't worse than beating the Bobcats by 30, for example.
Maybe this could help prevent the whole "blows out bad teams but loses against good teams so they're better than their record" thing, but I'm not sure.

That was tested extensively and capping the margin of victory at a certain level did not result into a better prediction. Also, beating the Heat by 20 (a +5 SRS team) would result into +25, while beating the Bobcats by 30 (a -8 SRS team) would result into +22. Beating the Heat by 20 is better than beating the Bobcats by 30. ;)
