Previous Seasons on synergy sports?

I was trying to gauge how OJ Mayo has improved this season, and I love how synergy breaks the numbers down, but I can't figure out how to do get his stats from previous seasons.
Is this just something you can't get from the free version?
Unrelated 2nd question:
The volume of defensive possessions make no sense to me. How is it possible that Tyson Chandler has only had 24 possessions defending the pnr roll man? Am I interpreting something wrong?

The 24 possessions defended only refer to when the P&R roll man takes a shot. Though that seems kind of small too.. Unfortunately I'm not a member so I can't really answer your first question. I myself also have a question regarding Synergy Sports that I've posted in a thread on this forum but I'll just wait for now..

Not a subscriber either, though I'm certain that previous season data is something only available to paying members because I've seen other posters pull that data.
As far as defense goes, synergy only logs a possession if it ends in a FGA, TO, or FT -- which works on the team level because, indeed, a possession can only ever end in a FGA, TO, or FT. The problem is that synergy assigns credit for that defensive possession to only one guy, when presumably there are 5 guys playing defense. As a result, the vast majority of a player's defensive possessions are not recorded. Of course, this is also true for synergy's offensive stats -- 5 guys playing, 1 guy gets acknowledged (2 guys if it's an assisted FG, and I think you need a subscription to see per-play assist stats).
