Kyle Korver's 3pt stats, HOF worthy?

Pretty simple question.
He is one of the deadliest 3 points to ever play the game and is currently shattering the record for most games in a row with a 3 pointer made.
Are Kyle's 3 point shooting stats good enough for an entry into the Hall?

No. You don't get in the Hall by being that kind of a specialist in basketball. Two main reasons:
1) This isn't baseball. In baseball you can pitch one inning per game and make the Hall, but the reason it works is because when you're in the game, you're the focus of it. By contrast most of the time Korver spends out there he's an afterthought who could be replaced by any number of players easily, and those down times have to factored in just as much as when he has his glorious moments.
2) Players like Korver don't take contested shots for the most part. They get the ball because they are open, and they are open because there are more dangerous teammates on the floor dividing the defense's attention. While Korver is a great 3-point shooter, his numbers would fall off a map if he were asked to create for himself and there are actually guys out there who shoot great 3's AND have to create for themselves. There's no question which is more impressive.
