I expected that team statistics with the pace adjustment checked would equal the unadjusted values multiplied by pace(produced in advanced stats) and divided by 100.
This doesn't appear to be how pace adjustments are derived. Can someone please explain these calculations?
Thanks

You made an error by mixing up the math operations. You should divide by pace, and multiply by 100.
For example, if you want to apply pace adjustment to PPG to obtain Off. rtg. -
Code: Select all
PPG = Points per 48min
Pace = Possessions per 48min
Off. rtg. = Points per 100 Possessions
So, Off. rtg. = ( PPG / Pace ) * 100
Try this out, and let me know if it works !

Re: Pace Adjustment question
Also, new to this and have a question. When I click on pace adjusted for NCAA stats is that "per 100 possessions" or "per 40 minutes"?
Also, would this be for the average and for the totals for the season, 5 game period, etc?
Thanks
