NBA Player Database

Is there anywhere I can find a downloadable database which contains data records for each player in history? I feel like this is something that has to exist in some form but have been unable to find it so far.
Would appreciate any help.

Not really sure what you mean by 'data records' but I would check out Mark Porcaro. Might not be exactly what you are looking for but would be a good start.
