Just a quick question, but can ESPN's RPM stat be compared across seasons? Thanks!

For the most part, yes.
But the formula is, to a degree, always evolving, not allowing for a perfect apples-to-apples comparison. Should be close, though
Any particular player(s) you want to compare across seasons?

In particular I was a bit curious to why Steph dropped a bit from last season. Beyond that I wanted to waste some time running some regressions with some of the older box-score based advanced stats.

Aside from the aforementioned small change in formula, Curry's rating probably dropped due to:
- his AST/36m being lower this season (8.5 -> 7). Assists are a very important factor in RPM
- Draymond Green's +/- taking off. Green is the first player ever to record a total +1000 over an entire season, and his per-minute +/- (and NET) exceeds Curry's, which makes RPM shovel some of the credit from Curry to Green
