				Saw this comment on facebook.
These stats felt so unreal that i decided to investigate and they check out. Just goes to show why Harden is getting so much hate for flopping:
Michael Jordan: 5,590 more field goals than free throws
LeBron James: 5,395 more field goals than free throws
Kobe Bryant: 4,035 more field goals than free throws
Kevin Durant: 2,219 more field goals than free throws
.....
James Harden: 193 more free throws than field goals

At some point a player is going to get fed-up with Harden's flopping like a fish and re-arrange his teeth... that will likely fix the problem in a inappropriate but effective manner.

It's no wonder he has struggled in the playoffs....his entire game is getting tick-tack fouls.

Pretty pathetic for a star tbh. Though it would be great if we could compare him to other guys playing today and not top 20 all time level guys. We know MJ, Kobe, KD and Lebron could/can get buckets. Maybe it would look less egregious alongside stars in Harden's tier.

He has a career FTr of .538%. This year it's only .475 which is his lowest rate since his rookie year. But .538 is basically the same or more than what centers shoot. Shaq is a career .578%. David Robinson is .577%. Hakeem is .363%. Jordan is .358%. Dwyane Wade is .432%.

				Never mind i found them.
Curry-2846 more FGs than FTs
Davis-1472 more FGs than FTs
Westbrook-1700 more FGs than FTs
Leonard-1237 more FGs than FTs
Paul-2085 more FGs than FTs
Harden seems to depend on FTs to get his points to an abnormal extent. I feel he deserved the MVP last season, but I can't see myself rooting for this guy.

Peak Harden is better than Curry. Harden will finish with more career points, steals, assists, and rebounds than Curry despite starting his first 3 years coming off the bench in OKC
Harden is a threat to Currys career arc because he is durable and gets 30 a night, so much so that casuals and nba fans want to keep harden off the free-throw line, and make him play currys style of play. What if we said Giannis has to take 7 threes a game like dirk in his prime because he stays in the paint too much...
all the dominant wing players of their draft class finished with better stats and accumlation of stats of the next closest guy. In Hardens case other than mvp awards and a all-nba snub( which are voted on by biased nba media writers). Harden has had the better career

Harden started his career off on the bench in okc his first 3 years and still racking up the points at a record pace

It's ridiculously soft right now. That's why you can't compare numbers of today's players, to those of players from the past.

Last years playoffs showed that “rings” are given not earned
I’m a stats guy over an awards guy when it comes to the nba

durant really broke the narrative that rings define individual greatness, 2 rings and zero respect given. not all rings are equal and it shows.

Define respect. For me, the ultimate sign of respect is when people don't wanna f*ck with you, not when they tap you on the back and pretend that they like you.
All those butthurt fans complaining about KD's move, saying he ruined the NBA, and hoping that he leaves the Warriors, are actually giving him the most respect. What they are really implying is that he is so good, that he destroyed chances of winning the championship for everybody else, including LeBron. I would enjoy all this criticism if i was him.
